2 Chronicles 6:38
सो यदि वे अपनी बन्धुआई के देश में जहां वे उन्हें बन्धुआ कर के ले गए हों अपने पूरे मन और सारे जीव से तेरी ओर फिरें, और अपने इस देश की ओर जो तू ने उनके पुरखाओं को दिया था, और इस नगर की ओर जिसे तू ने चुना है, और इस भवन की ओर जिसे मैं ने तेरे नाम का बनाया है, मुंह किए हुए तुझ से प्रार्थना करें,

| of their captivity, | שִׁבְיָ֖ם | šibyām | sheev-YAHM |
| whither | אֲשֶׁר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| captives, them carried have they | שָׁב֣וּ | šābû | sha-VOO |
| אֹתָ֑ם | ʾōtām | oh-TAHM | |
| pray and | וְהִֽתְפַּֽלְל֗וּ | wĕhitĕppallû | veh-hee-teh-pahl-LOO |
| toward | דֶּ֤רֶךְ | derek | DEH-rek |
| their land, | אַרְצָם֙ | ʾarṣām | ar-TSAHM |
| which | אֲשֶׁ֣ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| thou gavest | נָתַ֣תָּה | nātattâ | na-TA-ta |
| fathers, their unto | לַֽאֲבוֹתָ֔ם | laʾăbôtām | la-uh-voh-TAHM |
| and toward the city | וְהָעִיר֙ | wĕhāʿîr | veh-ha-EER |
| which | אֲשֶׁ֣ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| thou hast chosen, | בָּחַ֔רְתָּ | bāḥartā | ba-HAHR-ta |
| and toward the house | וְלַבַּ֖יִת | wĕlabbayit | veh-la-BA-yeet |
| which | אֲשֶׁר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| I have built | בָּנִ֥יתִי | bānîtî | ba-NEE-tee |
| for thy name: | לִשְׁמֶֽךָ׃ | lišmekā | leesh-MEH-ha |
