Zechariah 13:6
અને તેને જો કોઇ એમ પૂછશે કે, ‘તારી છાતી પર આ ઘા શાના છે?’ તો તે કહેશે કે, ‘એ ઘા તો મને મારા મિત્રોના ઘરમાં પડ્યા હતા.”‘

| him, What | מָ֧ה | mâ | ma |
| these are | הַמַּכּ֛וֹת | hammakkôt | ha-MA-kote |
| wounds | הָאֵ֖לֶּה | hāʾēlle | ha-A-leh |
| in | בֵּ֣ין | bên | bane |
| thine hands? | יָדֶ֑יךָ | yādêkā | ya-DAY-ha |
| answer, shall he Then | וְאָמַ֕ר | wĕʾāmar | veh-ah-MAHR |
| Those with which | אֲשֶׁ֥ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| wounded was I | הֻכֵּ֖יתִי | hukkêtî | hoo-KAY-tee |
| in the house | בֵּ֥ית | bêt | bate |
| of my friends. | מְאַהֲבָֽי׃ | mĕʾahăbāy | meh-ah-huh-VAI |
