Psalm 6

1 હે યહોવા, તમારા ક્રોધમાં, મને ધમકાવશો નહિ, અને તમારા રોષમાં, મને શિક્ષા કરશો નહિ.

2 હે યહોવા, મારા પર દયા કરો, કારણ, હું માંદો અને દુર્બળ છું. હે યહોવા, મને સાજો કરો, કારણ, મારા હાડકાં બહુ દુ:ખે છે.

3 હું ઘણો ભયભીત છું; મારું મન ભય અને અતિ વ્યથાથી ભરાઇ ગયું છે. હે યહોવા, મને મદદ કરવામાં ક્યાં સુધી વિલંબ કરશો?

4 હે યહોવા, પાછા આવો, મારો જીવ બચાવો. કૃપા કરી દયા દાખવી મને મરણથી બચાવો.

5 મૃત લોકો પોતાની કબરોમાં તમને યાદ કરતાં નથી, મૃત્યુની જગાએ કોઇપણ તમારી સ્તુતિ કરતું નથી.

6 આખી રાત પ્રાર્થના કરીને અને નિસાસા નાખીને હું નિર્બળ થયો છું, રોજ રાત્રે મારા આંસુઓથી મારું બિછાનું ભીંજવું છું.

7 મારા શત્રુઓએ મને આપેલ કષ્ટોને લીધે શોકને કારણે રૂદનથી મારી આંખો દુર્બળ બની ગઇ છે.

8 ઓ ભૂંડુ કરનારાઓ, મારાથી બધા દૂર થઇ જાઓ. કારણ, યહોવાએ મારા વિલાપનો સાદ સાંભળ્યો છે.

9 યહોવાએ મારા કાલાવાલા સાંભળ્યા છે, યહોવા મારી સર્વ પ્રાર્થનાઓ માન્ય કરશે.

10 મારા બધા શત્રુઓ ભયભીત અને નિરાશ થશે. ઓચિંતા કઇ થશે અને તેઓ બધા લજ્જિત બની ચાલ્યા જશે.

4 હે યહોવા, પાછા આવો, મારો જીવ બચાવો. કૃપા કરી દયા દાખવી મને મરણથી બચાવો.

9 યહોવાએ મારા કાલાવાલા સાંભળ્યા છે, યહોવા મારી સર્વ પ્રાર્થનાઓ માન્ય કરશે.

2 O Lord, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.

3 Have mercy upon me, O Lord; for I am weak: O Lord, heal me; for my bones are vexed.

4 My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O Lord, how long?

5 Return, O Lord, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies’ sake.

6 For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?

7 I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.

8 Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies.

9 Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping.

10 The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lord will receive my prayer.

11 Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly.

The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lord will receive my prayer.
