પ્રથમ દિવસે તમાંરે તાડનાં પાંદડાં અને ખાસફળો અને સુદંર વૃક્ષોની ડાળીઓ ભેગી કરવી અને સાત દિવસ સુધી તમાંરા દેવ યહોવા સમક્ષ આનંદોત્સવ ઊજવવો.
