James 1:11
સૂર્ય ઊગે છે અને ગરમી વધતી જાય છે. તેની ગરમીથી છોડ સુકાઇ જાય છે. ફૂલો ખરી પડે છે. ફૂલ સુંદર હતું પણ તે કરમાઈ ગયું તેવું જ શ્રીમંત માણસ માટે છે. જ્યારે તે પોતાના ધંધા માટે યોજનાઓ કરતો હશે તે અરસામાં તો તે મૃત્યુ પામશે.

અને તેમના માથાં પરનાં કરમાતાં ફૂલો જેવી તેમની જાહોજલાલી હશે અને પૌષ્ટિક ખોરાકથી હષ્ટપુષ્ટ અને ઋતુંનાં પહેલાં પાકેલાં અંજીર જેવી થશે, જે નજરે ચડતાં જ ચૂંટાઇને ખવાઇ જાય છે.
યશાયા 49:10
તેઓને ભૂખ કે તરસ લાગશે નહિ; તેઓને લૂ તથા તાપ વેઠવા પડશે નહિ. કારણ કે યહોવા પોતાની ભલાઇથી તેઓને દોરતા રહેશે અને તેમને પાણીના ઝરા આગળ લઇ જશે.
