મનુષ્ય પોતાના જીવનમાં ડાહપણ, જ્ઞાન તથા કુશળતાથી પોતાના કામ કરે, પણ એ સર્વ એક દિવસ એવી વ્યકિતના હાથમાં જશે જેણે તેના માટે કઇ કામ કર્યું નથી. કોઇ પણ જાતની કિંમત ચૂકવ્યાં વિના તે વારસ બને છે.આ વ્યર્થતા છે અને સાથે અન્યાય છે.

Ecclesiastes 2:21 in Other Translations

For there is a man whose labour is in wisdom, and in knowledge, and in equity; yet to a man that hath not laboured therein shall he leave it for his portion. This also is vanity and a great evil.

For there is a man whose labor is with wisdom, and with knowledge, and with skilfulness; yet to a man that hath not labored therein shall he leave it for his portion. This also is vanity and a great evil.

there is יֵ֣שׁ yēš yaysh
a man אָדָ֗ם ʾādām ah-DAHM
whose labour שֶׁעֲמָל֛וֹ ʿāmāl ah-MAHL
in wisdom, בְּחָכְמָ֥ה ḥokmâ hoke-MA
and in knowledge, וּבְדַ֖עַת daʿat da-AT
and in equity; וּבְכִשְׁר֑וֹן kišrôn keesh-RONE
yet to a man וּלְאָדָ֞ם ʾādām ah-DAHM
that hath not שֶׁלֹּ֤א lōʾ loh
laboured עָֽמַל ʿāmal ah-MAHL
בּוֹ֙
therein shall he leave יִתְּנֶ֣נּוּ nātan na-TAHN
