Deuteronomy 31:27
મૂસાએ તેઓને કહ્યું, તમે કેવા બળવાખોર અને હઠીલા છો તે હું જાણું છું. હું હજી તમાંરી વચ્ચે જીવતો છું છતાં આજે તમે યહોવાની આજ્ઞાનું ઉલ્લંઘન કરો છો, તો માંરા મૃત્યુ પછી તો તમે શું નહિ કરો!

તમે સમજી લેજો કે તમાંરા કોઈ પુણ્યને લીધે યહોવા તમને આ સમૃદ્ધ ભૂમિનો કબજો આપતો નથી, કારણ, તમે તો હઠીલી પ્રજા છો.

હવે તમે અમારા પિતૃઓના જેવા હઠીલા થશો નહિ. યહોવાને તાબે થાઓ. સદાને માટે એણે જેને પવિત્ર કર્યું છે તે પરમપવિત્રસ્થાનમાં આવો, તમારા દેવ યહોવાની સેવા કરો, જેથી તેનો રોષ તમારા ઉપરથી ઊતરી જાય.
