દાઉદ અને બધા ઇસ્રાએલીઓ સાથે હર્ષથી નાચતા હતા અને રણશિંગા વગાડતા, ગાતા અને નાચતા પવિત્રકોશને નગરમાં લઈ આવ્યાં.

સાત યાજકોએ હાથમાં ઘેટાંના શિંગડામાંથી બનાવેલ સાત રણશિંગડાં લઈને કોશની આગળ ચાલે. સાતમે દિવસે તારે અને તારા સૈનિકોએ સાત વખત શહરને ફરતે પ્રદક્ષિણા કરવી અને યાજકે રણશિંગડાઓ વગાડવાં.
