“તેણે તેમને કહ્યું કે, દાઉદને કહો કે, ‘રાજાને તારી પાસેથી દહેજમાં ફકત સો પલિસ્તીઓની ઇન્દ્રીયની ચામડી જ જોઈએ છે તેને તેના દુશ્મનો ઉપર વેર વાળવું છે.”‘ શાઉલના મનમાં એવું હતું કે, આ રીતે દાઉદ પલિસ્તીને હાથે માંર્યો જશે.
