“તેથી માંરી સલાહ છે કે, દાનથી બેર-શેબા સુધીના સર્વ ઇસ્રાએલીઓને તેઓ સૌનેે તું એકઠા કર. આમ સમુદ્રની રેતીની જેમ ઘણાં સૈનિકોથી તારું સૈન્ય વિશાળ થઇ જશે, અને પછી તારે જાતે જ યુદ્ધનાં લશ્કરની આગેવાની લેવી પડશે.
