પરંતુ આ શરીરમાં અમે નિસાસા નાખીએ છીએ. અમે ઈચ્છીએ છીએ કે દેવ હવે અમને સ્વર્ગીય નિવાસસ્થાન આપે.

પરંતુ તે એકલી જ નહિ, પણ આપણે પોતે જેઓને આત્માનું પ્રથમફળ મળ્યું છે. તે જોઈને પણ દત્તકપુત્રપણાની, એટલે આપણા શરીરના ઉદ્ધારની વાટ જોતાં આપણે પોતાના મનમાં નિસાસા નાખીએ છીએ, કહેવાનો અર્થ એ છે કે આપણાં શરીરોથી આપણને મુક્તિ મળી જાય એની આપણે પ્રતિક્ષા કરી રહ્યા છીએ.

આ શરીર કે જેનો નાશ થવાનો છે. તેણે જેનો નાશ ન કરી શકાય તેવાં વસ્ત્રો પરિધાન કરેલાં હોવા જોઈએ. અને આ શરીર જે મૃત્યુ પામે છે તેણે તેને અમરપણું પરિધાન કરેલું હોવું જોઈએ.

તેથી હું દુ:ખી છું! મારા માટે મૃત્યુ લાવનાર આ શરીરથી મને કોણ બચાવશે?
