આથી યહોવા તેના ઉપર ખૂબ કોપાયમાન થયા અને તેમણે એક પ્રબોધકને તેની પાસે મોકલ્યો. તેણે અમાસ્યાને કહ્યું, “તમે એ લોકોના દેવો પાસેથી સલાહ શા માટે લીધી જે દેવો પોતાના માણસોને પણ તમારા હાથમાંથી બચાવી શક્યા નહોતા?”

જેઓ મૂર્તિ બનાવે છે તે બધા કેવા તુચ્છ છે? તેઓ જેને મોંધીમૂલી ગણે છે તે મૂર્તિઓ કશા કામની નથી, તેમના સાક્ષીઓ કંઇ દેખતા નથી અને જાણતાં કંઇ નથી કે સાક્ષી આપી શકે. એટલે આખરે એમની ફજેતી થાય છે.
