સર્વ પ્રબોધકોએ એવો જ પ્રબોધ કર્યો છે કે, “રામોથ-ગિલયાદ પર ચઢાઇ કરીને વિજયી થા; કારણકે યહોવા તે તારા હાથમાં સોંપી દેશે.”

પરંતુ એક યોદ્ધાએ અમસ્તુ જ બાણ છોડ્યું અને તેણે ઇસ્રાએલના રાજાને બખતરના સાંધા આગળથી વીંધી નાખ્યો. આહાબે પોતાના સારથીને કહ્યું, “રથ ફેરવીને મને યુદ્ધભૂમિની બહાર લઇ જા. હું ઘવાયો છું.”

હે જૂઠા પ્રબોધકો, તમે યહોવાના લોકોને ખોટા માગેર્ લઇ જાઓ છો.તમને ખોરાક આપે તેઓને તમે શાંતિ થાઓ એમ કહો છો અને જેઓ નથી આપતા તેઓને તમે ધમકાવો છો. તમારા માટે દેવનો આ સંદેશો છે.

ભૂતકાળમાં દેવના લોકો વચ્ચે ખોટા પ્રબોધકો ઊભા થયા હતા. અત્યારે પણ એવું જ છે. તમારા સમૂહમાં કેટલાએક જૂઠાં ઉપદેશકો છે. તેઓ જે વસ્તુ ખોટી છે તેનો ઉપદેશ આપશે કે જેનાથી લોકો ખોવાઇ જાય. આ ખોટા ઉપદેશકો એ રીતે ઉપદેશ આપશે કે જેથી તેઓ ખોટા છે તે શોધવું તમારા માટે મુશ્કેલ બની જશે. તેઓ સ્વામી (ઈસુ) કે જેના દ્ધારા તેઓને સ્વતંત્રતા મળી છે, તેનો પણ સ્વીકાર કરવાનો નકાર કરશે. અને આથી તેઓ પોતાની જાતે ઉતાવળે નાશ વહોરી લેશે.

આ લોકો હંમેશા બીજા લોકોમાં ભૂલો શોધે છે અને ફરિયાદ કરે છે. તેઓ હંમેશા તેઓની ઈચ્છા મુજબ દુષ્ટ કૃત્યો કરે છે. તેઓ પોતાની જાત વિશે દંભ કરે છે. તેઓ ફક્ત પોતાની ઈચ્છા પ્રમાણે પ્રાપ્ત કરવા, સ્વાર્થ સાધવા માટે બીજા લોકો માટે સારું બોલે છે.

પછી મેં ત્રણ અશુદ્ધ આત્માઓ જે દેડકાઓ જેવા દેખાતા હતા તે જોયાં. તેઓ અજગરના મુખમાથી, તે પ્રાણીના મુખમાંથી, અને ખોટા પ્રબોધકના મુખમાથી બહાર આવ્યા.

પણ તે શ્વાપદ પકડાયું, અને તેની સમક્ષ જે જૂઠા પ્રબોધકો ચમત્કારો દેખાડીને શ્વાપદની છાપ લેનારાઓને તથા તેની મૂર્તિ પૂજનારાઓને ભમાવ્યા હતા, તે જૂઠા પ્રબોધક અને તે પ્રાણીને ગંધકથી બળનારા અગ્નિના સરોવરમાં જીવતા ફેંકી દેવામાં આવ્યાં.
