તેઓ રોજ સવારે તથા સાંજે દહનાર્પણો અને સુવાસિત ધૂપનું દહન કરે છે અને પવિત્ર મેજ ઉપર પ્રદશિર્ત કરવા માટેની રોટલી મૂકે છે. દરરોજ સાંજે સોનાના દીપવૃક્ષ પર દીવાઓ પ્રગટાવે છે. કારણકે યહોવા અમારા દેવની આજ્ઞાઓને અનુસરવા અમે કાળજી રાખીએ છીએ; પણ તમે તો તેમને તજી દીધા છે.

ત્યાર પછી બીજો એક દૂત વેદી પાસે આવ્યો અને ઊભો રહ્યો, આ દૂત પાસે સોનાની ધૂપદાની હતી. તે દૂત પાસે દેવના સર્વ પવિત્ર લોકોની પ્રાર્થનાઓ સાથે અર્પણ કરવા માટે પૂરતું ધૂપદ્રવ્ય હતું. તે દૂતે રાજ્યાસનની આગળ સોનાની વેદી પર તે ધૂપદાની અર્પણ કરી.

આ પવિત્રભૂમિ સાદોકના વંશના યાજકો માટે રહેશે. ઇસ્રાએલીઓ આડે માગેર્ ગયા હતા ત્યારે બીજા લેવીઓની જેમ તેઓ આડે માગેર્ ગયા નહોતા પણ તેમણે વફાદારીપૂર્વક મારી સેવા બજાવી હતી.
