Psalm 90:10
અમારી વયના દિવસો સિત્તેર વર્ષ જેટલા છે; કેટલાંક તેમનાં બળને કારણે એંસી વર્ષ પણ જીવે. તો પણ શ્રેષ્ઠ વષોર્ મિથ્યા, શ્રમ, તથા દુ:ખ માત્ર છે; કારણ તે ઝડપથી પસાર થઇ જાય છે અને અમારો અંત આવી જાય છે.

| years, | שְׁמ֘וֹנִ֤ים | šĕmônîm | sheh-MOH-NEEM |
| yet is their strength | שָׁנָ֗ה | šānâ | sha-NA |
| labour | וְ֭רָהְבָּם | wĕrohbom | VEH-roh-bome |
| and sorrow; | עָמָ֣ל | ʿāmāl | ah-MAHL |
| for | וָאָ֑וֶן | wāʾāwen | va-AH-ven |
| it is soon | כִּי | kî | kee |
| cut off, | גָ֥ז | gāz | ɡahz |
| and we fly away. | חִ֝֗ישׁ | ḥîš | heesh |
