Psalm 49 - YLT (Gujarati)

1 To the Overseer. -- By sons of Korah. A Psalm. Hear this, all ye peoples, Give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world.હે સર્વ પ્રજાજનો, તમે આ સાંભળો; હે વિશ્વવાસી લોકો તમે સાંભળો.

2 Both low and high, together rich and needy.નિમ્ન કક્ષના કે ઉચ્ચકક્ષાનાં, શ્રીમંત કે દરિદ્રી, તમે સૌ માણસો મારા શબ્દો પર ધ્યાન આપો.

3 My mouth speaketh wise things, And the meditations of my heart `are' things of understanding.હું બુદ્ધિ વિષે મારા મુખેથી બોલીશ; મારા હૃદયમાંથી નિકળતા ઉદૃગારો જ્ઞાન વિષે હશે.

4 I incline to a simile mine ear, I open with a harp my riddle:હું દ્રષ્ટાંત પર કાન લગાડીશ, અને વીણા પર મારો મર્મ ખોલીશ.

5 Why do I fear in days of evil? The iniquity of my supplanters doth compass me.જ્યારે સંકટો આવે છે ત્યારે, ચારેબાજુથી મને શત્રુઓ ઘેરી લે એવા દુષ્ટોના સકંજામાં મારે ડરવાની જરૂર નથી.

6 Those trusting on their wealth, And in the multitude of their riches, Do shew themselves foolish.જેઓ પોતાની સંપત્તિ પર ભરોસો રાખે છે, તેઓ કેટલાં ધનવાન છે તેનું અભિમાન કરે છે.

7 A brother doth no one at all ransom, He doth not give to God his atonement.તેઓમાંનો કોઇ પોતાના ભાઇને કોઇ રીતે છોડાવી શકતાં નથી; દેવને તે તેનાં બદલામાં ખંડણી આપી શકતાં નથી.

8 And precious `is' the redemption of their soul, And it hath ceased -- to the age.માનવ-જીવનની એટલી મોટી કિંમત છે કે દુન્યવી સંપત્તિથી તેનો મૃત્યુદંડ ચૂકવી શકાતો નથી.

9 And still he liveth for ever, He seeth not the pit.જેથી તે સદાકાળનું જીવન પામે, અને નરકનાં ખાડાની શિક્ષાથી બચી જાય.

10 For he seeth wise men die, Together the foolish and brutish perish, And have left to others their wealth.બધા લોકો સાક્ષી છે કે વિદ્ધાન મૃત્યુ પામે છે, અને મૂર્ખ તેમજ હેવાન માણસો પણ મૃત્યુ પામે છે. અને તેઓ તેમની પાછળ તેમની સંપત્તિ બીજાઓ માટે મૂકી જાય છે.

11 Their heart `is': Their houses `are' to the age, Their tabernacles to all generations. They proclaimed their names over the lands.તેઓ જમીનજાગીરને પોતાના નામથી ઓળખાવે છે, જાણેકે સદાકાળને માટે તે તેઓની જ રહેવાની હોય; અને જાણે તેઓ સદાકાળ અધિકાર ભોગવવાના હોય.

12 And man in honour doth not remain, He hath been like the beasts, they have been cut off.માણસો ભલે ધનવાન હોય, પણ તેઓ અહીં કાયમ માટે રહેવાના નથી. જેવી રીતે બીજા પ્રાણીઓ મરી જાય છે તેમ તેઓ પણ મૃત્યુ પામશે.

13 This their way `is' folly for them, And their posterity with their sayings are pleased. Selah.એવા મૂર્ખ લોકો જેમણે તેમની સંપત્તિનો વિશ્વાસ રાખ્યો હતો, અંતે તો તેમનો અંત એવોજ આવશે.

14 As sheep for Sheol they have set themselves, Death doth afflict them, And the upright rule over them in the morning, And their form `is' for consumption. Sheol `is' a dwelling for him.પેલા લોકો બરાબર ઘેટાઁ જેવાજ છે. શેઓલ તેમનો વાડો બનશે અને મૃત્યુ તેમનો ઘેટાંપાળક બનશે. જ્યારે પેલાં અભિમાની લોકોના શરીરો તેમના વૈભવી ઘરોથી ખૂબ દૂર શેઓલમાં ધીમેથી સડી જશે તે દિવસે નિષ્ઠાવાન લોકો વિજયી બનશે.

15 Only, God doth ransom my soul from the hand of Sheol, For He doth receive me. Selah.દેવ મને શેઓલની પકડમાંથી છોડાવશે કારણ કે તેઓ મને તેમની સાથે રહેવા લઇ જશે.

16 Fear not, when one maketh wealth, When the honour of his house is abundant,કારણ, તે લોકો ધનવાન છે, અને વૈભવી મકાનો ધરાવે છે એટલા માટે તે લોકોથી ડરશો નહિ.

17 For at his death he receiveth nothing, His honour goeth not down after him.તેઓ જ્યારે મૃત્યુ પામે છે ત્યારે તેઓ સાથે કશુંય લઇ જઇ શકશે નહિ અને તેમનો વૈભવ તેમની પાછળ જવાનો નથી.

18 For his soul in his life he blesseth, (And they praise thee when thou dost well for thyself.)ધનવાન વ્યકિત તેના જીવનકાળ દરમ્યાન પોતાની જાતને મહાન ગણતી હશે, અને પોતાની જાતને ધન્યવાદ આપ્યા હશે કે તે મહાન હતા, તેની દુન્યવી સફળતાઓ માટે લોકોએ પ્રશંસા કરી હતી.

19 It cometh to the generation of his fathers, For ever they see not the light.પરંતુ આખરે તો તે પણ તેના પૂર્વજોની જેમ મૃત્યુ પામશે અને પછી તે જીવનનું અજવાળું ક્યારેય પણ નહિ જુએ.

20 Man in honour, who understandest not, Hath been like the beasts, they have been cut off!જે વ્યકિત પાસે દુન્યવી વૈભવ છે, પણ આત્મિક સમજ નથી; તે વ્યકિત બુદ્ધિહીન નાશ પામનાર પશુ સમાન છે.
