Psalm 146
1 યહોવાની સ્તુતિ કરો. હે મારા આત્મા યહોવાની સ્તુતિ કર.
2 મારા જીવન પર્યંત હું યહોવાની સ્તુતિ કરીશ; મારા જીવનનાં છેલ્લા શ્વાસ સુધી હું તેમનાં સ્તુતિગીતો ગાઇશ.
3 તમે રાજાઓ કે માણસોનો ભરોસો ન રાખો, કારણકે તેમની પાસે તારણ નથી.
4 તેનો પ્રાણ તેમને છોડી જાય છે, અને તેમનું શરીર ધૂળમાં પાછું મળી જાય છે; અને તેમની બધી યોજનાઓ નકામી જાય છે.
5 જે માણસને સહાય કરનાર યાકૂબના દેવ છે; અને જેની આશા તેના દેવ યહોવામાં છે; તે આશીર્વાદિત છે.
6 યહોવાએ પૃથ્વી તથા આકાશો, સમુદ્રો તથા તેમાંના સર્વસ્વનું સર્જન કર્યુ છે, તે પોતાના પ્રત્યેક વચનનુઁ પાલન કરે છે.
7 તે કચડાયેલાઓનો ન્યાય જાળવી રાખે છે, તે ભૂખ્યાઓને અનાજ પૂરું પાડે છે. યહોવા કેદીઓને મુકત કરાવે છે.
8 યહોવા આંધળાને દેખતાઁ કરે છે; યહોવા ભારે બોજથી દબાયેલાઓનો બોજો હલકો કરે છે, કારણકે યહોવા ન્યાયી માણસને પ્રેમ કરે છે.
9 યહોવા નિરાશ્રિતોનું રક્ષણ કરે છે; અને અનાથો તથા વિધવાઓની કાળજી લે છે; પણ દુષ્ટોની યોજનાઓને ઊંધી વાળે છે.
10 યહોવા સદાકાળ રાજ કરશે, હે સિયોન, તમારા દેવ પેઢી દર પેઢી રાજ કરશે. યહોવાની સ્તુતિ થાઓ!
1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise the Lord, O my soul.
2 While I live will I praise the Lord: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.
3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
4 His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.
5 Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God:
6 Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:
7 Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The Lord looseth the prisoners:
8 The Lord openeth the eyes of the blind: the Lord raiseth them that are bowed down: the Lord loveth the righteous:
9 The Lord preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.
10 The Lord shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the Lord.

A Song of degrees.
1 જ્યારે યહોવા બંધકોને સિયોનમાં પાછા લઇ આવ્યા, ત્યારે અમે સ્વપ્ન જોતાં હોઇએ એવું લાગ્યું.
When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.
2 અમે અતિ આનંદ અને ઉત્સાહથી ગીતો ગાયા કરતાં હતાં; ત્યારે વિદેશીઓએ કહ્યું; “યહોવાએ તેઓને માટે અદ્ભૂત કામો કર્યા છે.”
Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them.
3 યહોવાએ અમારે માટે મોટા કામ કર્યા છે જેથી અમે આનંદ પામીએ છીએ.
The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.
4 હે યહોવા, અમારાં બંધકોને પાછા લાવો, અને તેમને પાણીથી ભરેલા રણના ઝરણાંની જેમ ધસમસતાં આવવાની રજા આપો.
Turn again our captivity, O Lord, as the streams in the south.
5 જેઓ આંસુ પાડતાં પાડતાં વાવે છે; તેઓ હર્ષનાદ કરતાં કરતાં લણશે.
They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
6 જે કોઇ મૂઠ્ઠીભર બીજ લઇને રડતાં વાવણી કરવા જાય છે; તે ગીતો ગાતો આનંદ ભેર પાકનાં પૂળા ઊંચકીને પાછો આવે છે.
He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
