Psalm 143 in Gujarati

1 હે યહોવા, મારી પ્રાર્થના સાંભળો, મારી આજીજીનો જવાબ આપો અને મને બતાવો કે તમે ભલા અને ન્યાયી છો.

2 હે યહોવા, મારી, તમારા સેવકની, ચકાસણી ન કરો, કારણ કે તમારી આગળ કોઇ નિદોર્ષ મળશે નહિ.

3 મારા શત્રુઓ મારી પાછળ પડ્યા છે; તેઓએ મને જમીન પર પછાડ્યો છે, અને અંધકારમાં પૂરી દીધો છે, જાણે હું મરી ગયો હોઉં તેમ.

4 કરણ સ્તબ્ધ થઇ ગયું છે.

5 હું ભૂતકાળનાં વષોર્ સ્મરું છું; તે વખતે તમે મહિમાવંત ચમત્કારો કર્યા હતાં; તેનું મનન કરું છું.

6 હું મારા હાથ તમારા ભણી પ્રસારું છું; સૂકી ધરતીની જેમ મારો જીવ તમારા માટે તરસે છે.

7 હે યહોવા, મને જલ્દી જવાબ દો કારણકે હવે હું નબળો થતો જાઉં છું; તમે મારાથી મોઢું ફેરવશો તો હું મૃત્યુ પામીશ.

8 મને પ્રભાતમાં તમારી કૃપા અનુભવવા દો; કારણકે, હું તમારા પર ભરોસો રાખું છું. જે માગેર્ મારે ચાલવું જોઇએ તે મને બતાવો, કારણકે, હું મારું જીવન તમારા હાથોમાં મૂકું છું.

9 મારા શત્રુઓથી તમે મારી રક્ષા કરો; સંતાવા માટે હું તમારે શરણે આવ્યો છું.

10 મને તમારી ઇચ્છા પ્રમાણે વર્તવાનું શીખવો; કારણકે તમે મારા દેવ છો; તમારો ઉત્તમ આત્મા મને સત્યને માગેર્ દોરી જાઓ.

11 હે યહોવા, તમારા નામને માટે મને જીવાડો; તમારા ન્યાયીપણાથી મને મુશ્કેલીમાંથી બચાવો.

12 મારા પ્રત્યેની કૃપાથી તમે મારા શત્રુઓનો નાશ કરો; અને મારા આત્માને સતાવનારાઓનો સંહાર કરો; કારણકે હું તમારો સેવક છું.

2 Hear my prayer, O Lord, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness.

3 And enter not into judgment with thy servant: for in thy sight shall no man living be justified.

4 For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; he hath smitten my life down to the ground; he hath made me to dwell in darkness, as those that have been long dead.

5 Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me; my heart within me is desolate.

6 I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the work of thy hands.

7 I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.

8 Hear me speedily, O Lord: my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit.

9 Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.

10 Deliver me, O Lord, from mine enemies: I flee unto thee to hide me.

11 Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

12 Quicken me, O Lord, for thy name’s sake: for thy righteousness’ sake bring my soul out of trouble.

13 And of thy mercy cut off mine enemies, and destroy all them that afflict my soul: for I am thy servant.
