Psalm 124 - BBE (Gujarati)

1 <A Song of the going up. Of David.> If it had not been the Lord who was on our side (let Israel now say);ઇસ્રાએલના લોકો કબૂલ કરતાં કહે; જો યહોવા અમારા પક્ષમાં ન હોત.

2 If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, when men came up against us;હા, જ્યારે લોકોએ અમારા પર હુમલો કર્યો ત્યારે જો યહોવા અમારા પક્ષમાં ન હોત.

3 They would have made a meal of us while still living, in the heat of their wrath against us:તો દુશ્મનો અમને જીવતા ગળી ગયા હોત; અને તેઓના કોપથી અમારો નાશ થયો હોત.

4 We would have been covered by the waters; the streams would have gone over our soul;ત્યારે પાણીની રેલમાં અમે તણાઇ ગયા હોત; અને પાણીએ અમને ડૂબાડી દીધા હોત.

5 Yes, the waters of pride would have gone over our soul.તે અભિમાની માણસોએ અમને પાણીમાં ડૂબાડી દીધા હોત.

6 Praise be to the Lord, who has not let us be wounded by their teeth.યહોવાને ધન્ય છે કે જેણે અમને તેઓના દાંતમાં શિકાર તરીકે પકડાવા ન દીધા, અને તેમણે અમારો નાશ થવા દીધો નહિ.

7 Our soul has gone free like a bird out of the net of those who would take her: the net is broken, and we are free.જેમ પારધીની જાળમાંથી પક્ષી છટકી જાય; તેમ અમારા જીવ બચી ગયા છે; જાળ તૂટી ગઇ છે અને અમે બચી ગયા છીએ.

8 Our help is in the name of the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth.આકાશ અને પૃથ્વીના સર્જનહાર; યહોવા જ અમારા મદદગાર છે.
