Psalm 114
1 જ્યારે ઇસ્રાએલીઓ વષોર્ પૂવેર્ મિસરમાંથી નીકળ્યા, તેથી પરભાષા બોલનાર લોકોમાંથી યાકૂબનું કુટુંબ નીકળ્યું.
2 પછી યહૂદિયા દેવનું નવું ઘર અને ઇસ્રાએલ દેશ તેમનું રાજ્ય બન્યાં.
3 તેઓને આવતા જોઇને લાલ સમુદ્ર બે ભાગમાં વહેંચાઇ ગયો; યર્દન નદી પાછી વળી અને દૂર દોડી ગઇ.
4 પર્વતો ઘેટાંઓની માફક કૂદ્યા અને ડુંગરો ગાડરની જેમ કૂદ્યા.
5 અરે લાલ સમુદ્ર! તને શું થઇ ગયું કે તું બે ભાગમાં વહેંચાઇ ગયો? યર્દન નદી, શું થયું તારા પાણીનું? શા માટે તમે પાછા હઠી ગયા?
6 અરે પર્વતો, તમે શા માટે ઘેટાંની જેમ કૂદ્યા? અને ડુંગરો તમે કેમ હલવાનોની જેમ કૂદ્યા?
7 હે પૃથ્વી, પ્રભુની સમક્ષ, યાકૂબના દેવની સમક્ષ, તું થરથર કાંપ.
8 તેણે ખડકમાંથી પાણી વહેતું કર્યું. તેણે ચકમકમાંથી જળનાં ઝરણા વહાવ્યાં.
1 When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language;
2 Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion.
3 The sea saw it, and fled: Jordan was driven back.
4 The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs.
5 What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back?
6 Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams; and ye little hills, like lambs?
7 Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;
8 Which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters.
