Proverbs 9
13 મૂર્ખ સ્ત્રી કંકાસિપણ છે; અને સમજણ વગરની છે. અને છેક અજાણ છે.
14 તે નગરની ઊંચી જગાઓ ઉપર અને પોતાના ઘરને બારણે બેસે છે.
15 ત્યાંથી તેણી પોતાને માગેર્ ઝડપથી પસાર થતા લોકોને બોલાવે છે.
16 “જે કોઇ મૂર્ખ હોય, તેે અહીં અંદર આવે; અને બુદ્ધિહીનને તેણી કહે છે કે,
17 “ચોરીને પીધેલું પાણી મીઠું લાગે છે, અને છુપાવીને ખાધેલો રોટલો સ્વાદિષ્ટ લાગે છે.”
13 A foolish woman is clamorous: she is simple, and knoweth nothing.
14 For she sitteth at the door of her house, on a seat in the high places of the city,
15 To call passengers who go right on their ways:
16 Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: and as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him,
17 Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant.

14 તે નગરની ઊંચી જગાઓ ઉપર અને પોતાના ઘરને બારણે બેસે છે.
For she sitteth at the door of her house, on a seat in the high places of the city,
15 ત્યાંથી તેણી પોતાને માગેર્ ઝડપથી પસાર થતા લોકોને બોલાવે છે.
To call passengers who go right on their ways:
16 “જે કોઇ મૂર્ખ હોય, તેે અહીં અંદર આવે; અને બુદ્ધિહીનને તેણી કહે છે કે,
Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: and as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him,
17 “ચોરીને પીધેલું પાણી મીઠું લાગે છે, અને છુપાવીને ખાધેલો રોટલો સ્વાદિષ્ટ લાગે છે.”
Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant.
