ઇસ્રાએલી પ્રજાએ પાસ્ખા પર્વની ઉજવણી સિનાઈના અરણ્યમાં પ્રથમ મહિનાના ચૌદમાં દિવસે સંધ્યાકાળે શરૂ કરી હતી. યહોવાએ મૂસાને સૂચવ્યું હતું તે મુજબ ઇસ્રાએલીઓએ કર્યું.
