וַיְהִ֣י it vai-HEE כַֽאֲשֶׁ֣ר came ha-uh-SHER נִשְׁמַ֣ע to neesh-MA לְסַנְבַלַּ֣ט pass, leh-sahn-va-LAHT וְ֠טֽוֹבִיָּה when VEH-toh-vee-ya וּלְגֶ֨שֶׁם Sanballat, oo-leh-ɡEH-shem הָֽעַרְבִ֜י and ha-ar-VEE וּלְיֶ֣תֶר Tobiah, oo-leh-YEH-ter אֹֽיְבֵ֗ינוּ and oh-yeh-VAY-noo כִּ֤י Geshem kee בָנִ֙יתִי֙ the va-NEE-TEE אֶת Arabian, et הַ֣חוֹמָ֔ה and HA-hoh-MA וְלֹא the veh-LOH נ֥וֹתַר rest NOH-tahr בָּ֖הּ of ba פָּ֑רֶץ our PA-rets גַּ֚ם enemies, ɡahm עַד heard ad הָעֵ֣ת that ha-ATE הַהִ֔יא I ha-HEE דְּלָת֖וֹת had deh-la-TOTE לֹֽא builded loh הֶעֱמַ֥דְתִּי heh-ay-MAHD-tee בַשְּׁעָרִֽים׃ the va-sheh-ah-REEM -
וַיִּשְׁלַ֨ח Sanballat va-yeesh-LAHK סַנְבַלַּ֤ט and sahn-va-LAHT וְגֶ֙שֶׁם֙ Geshem veh-ɡEH-SHEM אֵלַ֣י sent ay-LAI לֵאמֹ֔ר unto lay-MORE לְכָ֞ה me, leh-HA וְנִֽוָּעֲדָ֥ה saying, veh-nee-wa-uh-DA יַחְדָּ֛ו Come, yahk-DAHV בַּכְּפִירִ֖ים let ba-keh-fee-REEM בְּבִקְעַ֣ת us beh-veek-AT אוֹנ֑וֹ meet oh-NOH וְהֵ֙מָּה֙ together veh-HAY-MA חֹֽשְׁבִ֔ים in hoh-sheh-VEEM לַֽעֲשׂ֥וֹת some la-uh-SOTE לִ֖י one lee רָעָֽה׃ of ra-AH -
וָֽאֶשְׁלְחָ֨ה I va-esh-leh-HA עֲלֵיהֶ֤ם sent uh-lay-HEM מַלְאָכִים֙ messengers mahl-ah-HEEM לֵאמֹ֔ר unto lay-MORE מְלָאכָ֤ה them, meh-la-HA גְדוֹלָה֙ saying, ɡeh-doh-LA אֲנִ֣י I uh-NEE עֹשֶׂ֔ה am oh-SEH וְלֹ֥א doing veh-LOH אוּכַ֖ל a oo-HAHL לָרֶ֑דֶת great la-REH-det לָ֣מָּה work, LA-ma תִשְׁבַּ֤ת so teesh-BAHT הַמְּלָאכָה֙ that ha-meh-la-HA כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֣ר I ka-uh-SHER אַרְפֶּ֔הָ cannot ar-PEH-ha וְיָֽרַדְתִּ֖י veh-ya-rahd-TEE אֲלֵיכֶֽם׃ come uh-lay-HEM -
וַיִּשְׁלְח֥וּ they va-yeesh-leh-HOO אֵלַ֛י sent ay-LAI כַּדָּבָ֥ר unto ka-da-VAHR הַזֶּ֖ה me ha-ZEH אַרְבַּ֣ע four ar-BA פְּעָמִ֑ים times peh-ah-MEEM וָֽאָשִׁ֥יב after va-ah-SHEEV אוֹתָ֖ם this oh-TAHM כַּדָּבָ֥ר sort; ka-da-VAHR הַזֶּֽה׃ and ha-ZEH -
וַיִּשְׁלַח֩ sent va-yeesh-LAHK אֵלַ֨י Sanballat ay-LAI סַנְבַלַּ֜ט sahn-va-LAHT כַּדָּבָ֥ר his ka-da-VAHR הַזֶּ֛ה servant ha-ZEH פַּ֥עַם unto PA-am חֲמִישִׁ֖ית me huh-mee-SHEET אֶֽת in et נַעֲר֑וֹ like na-uh-ROH וְאִגֶּ֥רֶת manner veh-ee-ɡEH-ret פְּתוּחָ֖ה the peh-too-HA בְּיָדֽוֹ׃ fifth beh-ya-DOH -
כָּת֣וּב was ka-TOOV בָּ֗הּ written, ba בַּגּוֹיִ֤ם It ba-ɡoh-YEEM נִשְׁמָע֙ is neesh-MA וְגַשְׁמ֣וּ reported veh-ɡahsh-MOO אֹמֵ֔ר among oh-MARE אַתָּ֤ה the ah-TA וְהַיְּהוּדִים֙ heathen, veh-ha-yeh-hoo-DEEM חֹֽשְׁבִ֣ים and hoh-sheh-VEEM לִמְר֔וֹד Gashmu leem-RODE עַל saith al כֵּ֛ן it, kane אַתָּ֥ה that ah-TA בוֹנֶ֖ה thou voh-NEH הַֽחוֹמָ֑ה and ha-hoh-MA וְאַתָּ֗ה the veh-ah-TA הוֶֹ֤ה Jews hoh-EH לָהֶם֙ think la-HEM לְמֶ֔לֶךְ to leh-MEH-lek כַּדְּבָרִ֖ים rebel: ka-deh-va-REEM הָאֵֽלֶּה׃ for ha-A-leh -
וְגַם thou veh-ɡAHM נְבִיאִ֡ים hast neh-vee-EEM הֶֽעֱמַ֣דְתָּ also heh-ay-MAHD-ta לִקְרֹא֩ appointed leek-ROH עָלֶ֨יךָ prophets ah-LAY-ha בִֽירוּשָׁלִַ֜ם to vee-roo-sha-la-EEM לֵאמֹ֗ר preach lay-MORE מֶ֚לֶךְ of MEH-lek בִּֽיהוּדָ֔ה thee bee-hoo-DA וְעַתָּה֙ at veh-ah-TA יִשָּׁמַ֣ע Jerusalem, yee-sha-MA לַמֶּ֔לֶךְ saying, la-MEH-lek כַּדְּבָרִ֣ים There ka-deh-va-REEM הָאֵ֑לֶּה is ha-A-leh וְעַתָּ֣ה a veh-ah-TA לְכָ֔ה king leh-HA וְנִֽוָּעֲצָ֖ה in veh-nee-wa-uh-TSA יַחְדָּֽו׃ Judah: yahk-DAHV -
וָֽאֶשְׁלְחָ֤ה I va-esh-leh-HA אֵלָיו֙ sent ay-lav לֵאמֹ֔ר unto lay-MORE לֹ֤א him, loh נִֽהְיָה֙ saying, nee-heh-YA כַּדְּבָרִ֣ים There ka-deh-va-REEM הָאֵ֔לֶּה are ha-A-leh אֲשֶׁ֖ר no uh-SHER אַתָּ֣ה such ah-TA אוֹמֵ֑ר things oh-MARE כִּ֥י done kee מִֽלִּבְּךָ֖ as mee-lee-beh-HA אַתָּ֥ה thou ah-TA בוֹדָֽאם׃ sayest, voh-DAHM -
כִּ֣י they kee כֻלָּ֗ם all hoo-LAHM מְיָֽרְאִ֤ים made meh-ya-reh-EEM אוֹתָ֙נוּ֙ us oh-TA-NOO לֵאמֹ֔ר afraid, lay-MORE יִרְפּ֧וּ yeer-POO יְדֵיהֶ֛ם saying, yeh-day-HEM מִן Their meen הַמְּלָאכָ֖ה hands ha-meh-la-HA וְלֹ֣א shall veh-LOH תֵֽעָשֶׂ֑ה be tay-ah-SEH וְעַתָּ֖ה weakened veh-ah-TA חַזֵּ֥ק from ha-ZAKE אֶת the et יָדָֽי׃ work, ya-DAI -
וַֽאֲנִי I VA-uh-nee בָ֗אתִי came VA-tee בֵּ֣ית unto bate שְֽׁמַֽעְיָ֧ה the sheh-ma-YA בֶן house ven דְּלָיָ֛ה of deh-la-YA בֶּן Shemaiah ben מְהֵֽיטַבְאֵ֖ל the meh-hay-tahv-ALE וְה֣וּא son veh-HOO עָצ֑וּר of ah-TSOOR וַיֹּ֡אמֶר Delaiah va-YOH-mer נִוָּעֵד֩ the nee-wa-ADE אֶל son el בֵּ֨ית of bate הָֽאֱלֹהִ֜ים Mehetabeel, ha-ay-loh-HEEM אֶל who el תּ֣וֹךְ was toke הַֽהֵיכָ֗ל shut ha-hay-HAHL וְנִסְגְּרָה֙ up; veh-nees-ɡeh-RA דַּלְת֣וֹת and dahl-TOTE הַֽהֵיכָ֔ל he ha-hay-HAHL כִּ֚י said, kee בָּאִ֣ים Let ba-EEM לְהָרְגֶ֔ךָ us leh-hore-ɡEH-ha וְלַ֖יְלָה meet veh-LA-la בָּאִ֥ים together ba-EEM לְהָרְגֶֽךָ׃ in leh-hore-ɡEH-ha -
וָאֹֽמְרָ֗ה I va-oh-meh-RA הַאִ֤ישׁ said, ha-EESH כָּמ֙וֹנִי֙ Should ka-MOH-NEE יִבְרָ֔ח such yeev-RAHK וּמִ֥י a oo-MEE כָמ֛וֹנִי man ha-MOH-nee אֲשֶׁר as uh-SHER יָב֥וֹא I ya-VOH אֶל flee? el הַֽהֵיכָ֖ל and ha-hay-HAHL וָחָ֑י who va-HAI לֹ֖א is loh אָבֽוֹא׃ there, ah-VOH -
וָֽאַכִּ֕ירָה lo, va-ah-KEE-ra וְהִנֵּ֥ה I veh-hee-NAY לֹֽא perceived loh אֱלֹהִ֖ים that ay-loh-HEEM שְׁלָח֑וֹ God sheh-la-HOH כִּ֤י had kee הַנְּבוּאָה֙ not ha-neh-voo-AH דִּבֶּ֣ר sent dee-BER עָלַ֔י him; ah-LAI וְטֽוֹבִיָּ֥ה but veh-toh-vee-YA וְסַנְבַלַּ֖ט that veh-sahn-va-LAHT שְׂכָרֽוֹ׃ he seh-ha-ROH -
לְמַ֤עַן was leh-MA-an שָׂכוּר֙ he sa-HOOR ה֔וּא hired, hoo לְמַֽעַן that leh-MA-an אִירָ֥א I ee-RA וְאֶֽעֱשֶׂה should veh-EH-ay-seh כֵּ֖ן be kane וְחָטָ֑אתִי afraid, veh-ha-TA-tee וְהָיָ֤ה and veh-ha-YA לָהֶם֙ do la-HEM לְשֵׁ֣ם so, leh-SHAME רָ֔ע ra לְמַ֖עַן and leh-MA-an יְחָֽרְפֽוּנִי׃ sin, yeh-HA-reh-FOO-nee -
זָכְרָ֧ה God, zoke-RA אֱלֹהַ֛י think ay-loh-HAI לְטֽוֹבִיָּ֥ה thou leh-toh-vee-YA וּלְסַנְבַלַּ֖ט upon oo-leh-sahn-va-LAHT כְּמַֽעֲשָׂ֣יו Tobiah keh-ma-uh-SAV אֵ֑לֶּה and A-leh וְגַ֨ם Sanballat veh-ɡAHM לְנֽוֹעַדְיָ֤ה according leh-noh-ad-YA הַנְּבִיאָה֙ to ha-neh-vee-AH וּלְיֶ֣תֶר these oo-leh-YEH-ter הַנְּבִיאִ֔ים their ha-neh-vee-EEM אֲשֶׁ֥ר works, uh-SHER הָי֖וּ and ha-YOO מְיָֽרְאִ֥ים on meh-ya-reh-EEM אוֹתִֽי׃ the oh-TEE -
וַתִּשְׁלַם֙ the va-teesh-LAHM הַֽחוֹמָ֔ה wall ha-hoh-MA בְּעֶשְׂרִ֥ים was beh-es-REEM וַֽחֲמִשָּׁ֖ה finished va-huh-mee-SHA לֶֽאֱל֑וּל in leh-ay-LOOL לַֽחֲמִשִּׁ֥ים the la-huh-mee-SHEEM וּשְׁנַ֖יִם twenty oo-sheh-NA-yeem יֽוֹם׃ and yome -
וַיְהִ֗י it vai-HEE כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֤ר came ka-uh-SHER שָֽׁמְעוּ֙ to sha-meh-OO כָּל pass, kahl א֣וֹיְבֵ֔ינוּ that OY-VAY-noo וַיִּֽרְא֗וּ when va-yee-reh-OO כָּל all kahl הַגּוֹיִם֙ our ha-ɡoh-YEEM אֲשֶׁ֣ר enemies uh-SHER סְבִֽיבֹתֵ֔ינוּ heard seh-vee-voh-TAY-noo וַיִּפְּל֥וּ thereof, va-yee-peh-LOO מְאֹ֖ד and meh-ODE בְּעֵֽינֵיהֶ֑ם all beh-ay-nay-HEM וַיֵּ֣דְע֔וּ the va-YAY-deh-OO כִּ֚י heathen kee מֵאֵ֣ת that may-ATE אֱלֹהֵ֔ינוּ were ay-loh-HAY-noo נֶֽעֶשְׂתָ֖ה about neh-es-TA הַמְּלָאכָ֥ה us ha-meh-la-HA הַזֹּֽאת׃ saw ha-ZOTE -
גַּ֣ם׀ in ɡahm בַּיָּמִ֣ים those ba-ya-MEEM הָהֵ֗ם days ha-HAME מַרְבִּ֞ים the mahr-BEEM חֹרֵ֤י nobles hoh-RAY יְהוּדָה֙ of yeh-hoo-DA אִגְּרֹ֣תֵיהֶ֔ם Judah ee-ɡeh-ROH-tay-HEM הֽוֹלְכ֖וֹת sent hoh-leh-HOTE עַל many al טֽוֹבִיָּ֑ה letters toh-vee-YA וַֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר unto va-uh-SHER לְטֽוֹבִיָּ֖ה Tobiah, leh-toh-vee-YA בָּא֥וֹת and ba-OTE אֲלֵיהֶֽם׃ the uh-lay-HEM -
