Nehemiah 1:11
હે યહોવા, તારા સેવકની પ્રાર્થના ધ્યાનપૂર્વક સાંભળ, અને તારા તે સેવકોની પ્રાર્થના સાંભળ જેઓ તમારો આદર કરવામાં આનંદ માને છે આજે તમે તમારા સેવકને સફળતા આપો. અને જ્યારે હું રાજા પાસે જઇને તેમની મદદ માગું ત્યારે રાજા મારા તરફ દયાભાવ દર્શાવે, એ અરસામા હું રાજાનો પાત્રવાહક હતો.”

| the prayer | תְּפִלַּ֣ת | tĕpillat | teh-fee-LAHT |
| servants, thy of | עֲבָדֶ֗יךָ | ʿăbādêkā | uh-va-DAY-ha |
| who desire | הַֽחֲפֵצִים֙ | haḥăpēṣîm | ha-huh-fay-TSEEM |
| to fear | לְיִרְאָ֣ה | lĕyirʾâ | leh-yeer-AH |

| this day, | הַיּ֔וֹם | hayyôm | HA-yome |
| and grant | וּתְנֵ֣הוּ | ûtĕnēhû | oo-teh-NAY-hoo |
| mercy him | לְרַֽחֲמִ֔ים | lĕraḥămîm | leh-ra-huh-MEEM |
| in the sight | לִפְנֵ֖י | lipnê | leef-NAY |
| of this | הָאִ֣ישׁ | hāʾîš | ha-EESH |
| man. | הַזֶּ֑ה | hazze | ha-ZEH |
