Jeremiah 5:4
પછી મેં કહ્યું, “તેઓ જ ગરીબ લોકો છે, તેઓને કંઇ ભાન નથી. હા, તેઓને યહોવાના માગોર્ ખબર નથી અને તેમના દેવના કાયદાથી અજાણ છે.”

યશાયા 28:9
લોકો કહે છે, “યશાયા પોતાના મનમાં શું સમજે છે કે આપણી સાથે આ પ્રમાણે વાત કરે? અમે શું હમણા જ બોલતા શીખ્યા હોય એવા નાનાં બાળકો છીએ? “

દેવ કહે છે, “જ્યાં સુધી મારા લોકો મૂર્ખતા ન છોડે ત્યાં સુધી, કારણ, મારા લોકો મૂરખ છે, તેઓ મને ઓળખતા નથી; એ લોકો નાદાન બાળકો છે. એમને કશી સમજ નથી. એ લોકો ભૂંડુ કરવામાં ઘણાં ચાલાક છે, પરંતુ સાચું આચરણ કરતાં એમને આવડતું નથી.”

“‘જરા જો કે તું શું કરી રહ્યો છે? શું તું હજી એ છેતરામણા શબ્દોમાં માને છે જે તને કોઇ રીતે મદદ ન કરી શકે?

અધિકારીઓમાંથી કોઈએ તેનામાં વિશ્વાસ કર્યો? ના! શું આપણા ફરોશીઓમાંથી કોઈને તેનામાં વિશ્વાસ હતો? ના!
