Jeremiah 37:7
“ઇસ્રાએલના દેવ યહોવા આ પ્રમાણે કહે છે કે, ‘યહૂદિયાના જે રાજાએ તમને મારી પાસે પૂછવા મોકલ્યા, તેને કહો કે, જુઓ, તમને સહાય કરવાને ફારુનનું જે સૈન્ય મોકલ્યું છે, તે પોતાના મિસર દેશમાં પાછું જશે.

હઝકિયેલ 17:17
જ્યારે બાબિલનો રાજા યરૂશાલેમની આસપાસ ઘેરો નાખશે અને ઘણાં લોકોની હત્યા કરવા માટે લશ્કરને ઊભું કરશે ત્યારે મિસરનો રાજા ફારુન અને તેનું વિશાળ સૈન્ય ઇસ્રાએલને સહાયરૂપ બની શકશે નહિ.
ચર્મિયા 37:3
તેમ છતાં સિદકિયાએ શેલેમ્યાના પુત્ર યહૂકાલને તથા માઅસેયાના પુત્ર યાજક સફાન્યાને યમિર્યા પાસે મોકલીને કહેવડાવ્યું કે, “તું અમારે માટે યહોવા આપણા દેવ પાસે પ્રાર્થના કર.”
