યરૂશાલેમમાંથી બાબિલના બંદીવાસમાં તેમણે મોકલેલા સર્વ પર સૈન્યોનો દેવ યહોવા, ઇસ્રાએલના દેવ તરફથી આ સંદેશો છે:

જુઓ, યહોવાનો હાથ કઇં એવો નિર્બળ નથી કે તે તમારો બચાવ ન કરી શકે અથવા તેનો કાન એવો બહેરો નથી કે સાંભળી ન શકે.

રણશિંગડું નગરમાં વગાડવામાં આવે તો લોકો ડર્યા વિના રહે? શું યહોવાની મરજી વિના યહોવાના હાથ વિના નગર પર આફત આવે ખરી?
