Hebrews 12:19
તે સમયે રણશિંગડાના ભયંકર અવાજ સાથે દેવની વાણી સાંભળવામાં આવી પછી તે વિષે તેમણે ફરી કાંઈજ સાંભળ્યું નહિ. તે માટે લોકોએ પ્રાર્થના કરી.

કારણ કે તમે આ જ માંગણી હોરેબ પર્વત આગળ દેવ પાસે કરી હતી. ત્યાં પર્વતની તળેટી આગળ તમે માંગ્યું હતું કે, ‘તમાંરે દેવનો આવો ભયજનક અવાજ ફરી ન સાંભળવો પડે અથવા પર્વત પર ભયજનક અગ્નિ જોવો ન પડે, રખેને તમે મૃત્યુ પામો.’

પ્રભુ પોતે ગર્જનાસહિત આકાશમાંથી ઉતરશે. પ્રમુખ દૂતનીવાણી અને દેવના રણશિંગડાના અવાજ સાથે આદેશ આપવામાં આવશે. અને ખ્રિસ્તમાં જેઓ મૂએલાં છે તેઓ પ્રથમ ઊઠશે.

અને આ એકમાત્ર ક્ષણમાં થશે. એક આંખના પલકારાની ત્વરાથી આપણે બદલાઈ જઈશું. જ્યારે છેલ્લું રણશિંગડું ફૂંકાશે ત્યારે આમ બનશે. રણશિંગડું ફૂંકાશે અને જે વિશ્વાસીઓ મૃત્યુ પામ્યા છે તે ચિરંતનકાળ પર્યંત જીવવા પુર્નજીવિત થશે. અને આપણે જે જીવંત છીએ તે પણ પરિવર્તન પામીશું.

“આપણા દેવ યહોવાએ અમને પોતાના ગૌરવ અને માંહાત્મ્ય દર્શન કરાવ્યાં છે, અને અમે અગ્નિમાંથી તેમનો અવાજ સાંભળ્યો છે; આજે અમે જોયું અને જાણ્યું છે કે દેવ માંણસ સાથે બોલે છતાં માંણસ જીવતો રહે છે.

એ કરાર યહોવાએ આપણા પિતૃઓ સાથે નહિ પણ આપણી સાથે કર્યો હતો, જેઓ આજે અહીં જીવતા રહ્યા છે.

તમે લોકોએ જેમ દેવને અગ્નિમાંથી બોલતા સાંભળ્યા છે તેમ અન્ય કોઈ પ્રજાએ સાંભળ્યા છે ખરા? અને છતાં પણ તે જીવતી રહી છે?

પછી ત્રીજે દિવસે સવારમાં આકાશમાં મેઘગર્જનાઓ અને વીજળીઓ થવા લાગ્યાં. પર્વત ઉપર કાળું ઘાડું વાદળ છવાઈ ગયું, અને રણશિંગડાનો બહુ મોટો અવાજ થયો, જેથી છાવણીમાં સર્વ લોકો ધ્રૂજી ઊઠયા.
