પણ ઇસ્રાએલનો રાજા યોઆશ યહૂદાના હારી ગયેલા રાજા અમાસ્યાને કેદ કરીને યરૂશાલેમ લઇ ગયો. ત્યાં તેણે એફ્રાઇમના દરવાજાથી ખૂણાના દરવાજા સુધીનો 200 હાથ જેટલો યરૂશાલેમનો કોટ તોડી નંખાવ્યો.
