ન્યાયાધીશો 19:1
એ વખતે ઈસ્રાએલમાં કોઈ રાજા નહોતો. ત્યારે એફ્રાઈમની ટેકરીઓ પર અંદરના ભાગમાં એક લેવી રહેતો હતો, તેણે બેથલેહેમની એક યહૂદી કન્યાને પોતની ઉપપત્ની તરીકે રાખી હતી.
યહોશુઆ 17:15
યહોશુઆએ જવાબ આપ્યો, “જો એફ્રાઈમનો પર્વતીય પ્રદેશ તમે બધા મોટી સંખ્યામાં હો, ને તે પૂરતો ના હોય, તો તમે જો શક્તિમાંન હો તો પરિઝઝીઓ અને રફાઈઓ રહે છે તે જંગલોને કાપી નાખીને જગ્યા કરો.”
