પરંતુ જયારે મોઆબીઓ ઇસ્રાએલીની છાવણીએ આવ્યા ત્યારે ઇસ્રાએલીઓએ ઉભા થઇને મોઆબીઓની સામે હુમલો કર્યો અને પછી મોઆબીઓ ત્યાથી ભાગવા લાગ્યા. ઇસ્રાએલીઓએ મોઆબીઓને પૂર્ણ રીતે હરાવ્યા.

જયારે આહાબ મૃત્યુ પામ્યો ત્યારે મોઆબના રાજાએ ઇસ્રાએલના રાજા સામે બળવો કર્યો,

જયારે જયારે ઈસ્રાએલી પ્રજા પોતાના ખેતરોમાં વાવણી કરતી ત્યારે ત્યારે મિદ્યાનીઓ, અમાંલેકીઓ અને બીજી પૂર્વની પ્રજાઓ આવીને તેમના ઉપર હુમલો કરતી.

ત્યારબાદ ફરી એકવાર ઈસ્રાએલીઓએ તેમના વર્તન દ્વારા યહોવા સામે પાપ કરવાનું શરું કર્યુ, તેથી યહોવાએ મોઆબના રાજા એગ્લોનને શક્તિશાળી બનાવ્યો અને તેને ઈસ્રાએલીઓ સામે મોકલ્યો.
