1 Corinthians 15:21
કોઈ એક માણસના (આદમ) કૃત્યના કારણે લોકોનાં મૃત્યુ થયાં પરંતુ બીજા એક માણસના (ખ્રિસ્ત) કૃત્યના કારણે લોકો મએલામાંથી ઊઠશે.

એક માણસના (આદમના) લીધે આ જગતમાં પાપ પેઠું. પાપ દ્વારા મૃત્યુ પણ આવ્યું. આ જ કારણે સૌ લોકોને મરવું જ પડશે-કેમકે સઘળાએ પાપ કર્યું છે.
