વિશ્વાસ ટકાવી રાખવો એ સ્પર્ધાની હરીફાઈમાં ઉતરવા જેવું છે. એ સ્પર્ધા જીતવા તારાથી જેમ બને તેમ સખત પ્રયત્ન કરજે. અનંતજીવન તને પ્રાપ્ત થાય એની ખાતરી કરજે. એવું જીવન તને મળે એ માટે તને તેડવામાં આવ્યો છે. અને ખ્રિસ્ત વિષેના મહાન સત્યની તેં એવી રીતે કબૂલાત કરી છે કે જેના ઘણા લોકો સાક્ષી છે.

આપણને જે મુશ્કેલીઓ પડે છે તેમાં તું સહભાગી થા. ખ્રિસ્ત ઈસુના એક સારા સૈનિકની જેમ એ મુશ્કેલીઓ તું સ્વીકારી લે.
