યાકૂબને સમાંચાર મળ્યા કે, શખેમે તેની પુત્રી દીનાહની આબરૂ લીધી હતી. પણ તેના પુત્રો ઢોરો સાથે ખેતરમાં હતા એટલે તેઓના આવ્યા સુધી તેણે શાંતિ રાખી.
