રાજા સુલેમાંનના બધા પ્યાલાઓ શુદ્ધ સોનાના બનેલા હતા, અને લબાનોનના વનગૃહની દરેક વસ્તુઓ શુદ્વ સોનાની બનાવેલી હતી. ચાંદી બિલકુલ વાપરવામાં આવી નહોતી, કારણ, સુલેમાંનના જમાંનામાં તેની કશી કિંમત નહોતી.

વળી તેણે બીજી 300 નાની ઢાલો બનાવી, એ પ્રત્યેક નાની ઢાલમાં પોણાબે કિલો પર સોનું વપરાયું હતું. આ સઘળી ઢાલને તેણે પોતાના રાજમહેલમાં ‘લબાનોનના વનગૃહ’ નામની જગ્યામાં રાખી હતી.
