ઈસુએ રોટલી અને માછલી લઈન દેવનો આભાર માન્યો અને તેણે રોટલીના ટૂકડા કરી શિષ્યોને આપ્યા અને શિષ્યોએ તે ટૂકડા લોકોને આપ્યા.

પછી ઈસુએ કેટલીએક રોટલી લીધી. તેણે રોટલી માટે દેવની સ્તુતિ કરી અને તેના ટૂકડા કર્યાં. તેણે તે ટૂકડા શિષ્યોને આપ્યા. પછી ઈસુએ કહ્યું કે, “આ રોટલી મારું શરીર છે કે જે હું તમારા માટે આપું છું. મારી યાદગીરીમાં આ કરો.”

પણ પછી તિબેરિયાસથી કેટલીક હોડીઓ આવી. આગલા દિવસે લોકોએ જ્યાં ભોજન કર્યુ હતું તે સ્થળની નજીક હોડીઓ આવી. પ્રભુ (ઈસુ) નો આભાર માન્યા પછી તેઓએ રોટલી ખાધી હતી તે આ જ જગ્યા હતી.
