“તું ઇસ્રાએલી પ્રજાને આ નિયમો જણાવ: “જયારે કોઈ સ્ત્રીગર્ભ ધારણ કરે અને પુત્રને જન્મ આપે ત્યારે ઋતુકાળની જેમ તે સાત દિવસ સુધી તે અશુદ્ધ ગણાય તેથી તેને સાત દિવસ સૂતકના મર્યાદાના બંધનો લાગુ પડે.
