Leviticus 11 - YLT (Gujarati)

1 And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying unto them,પછી યહોવાએ મૂસા અને હારુનને કહ્યું,

2 `Speak unto the sons of Israel, saying, This `is' the beast which ye do eat out of all the beasts which `are' on the earth:“તમે ઇસ્રાએલી પ્રજાને આ પ્રમાંણે જણાવો: તમે પૃથ્વી પરનાં પ્રાણીઓમાંથી આટલાં જમવા માંટે ઉપયોગમાં લઈ શકો:

3 any dividing a hoof, and cleaving the cleft of the hoofs, bringing up the cud, among the beasts, it ye do eat.જે પ્રાણીઓની ખરી ફાટવાળી હોય અને જે વાગોળતું હોય તેને તમે જમી શકો.

4 `Only, this ye do not eat -- of those bringing up the cud, and of those dividing the hoof -- the camel, though it is bringing up the cud, yet the hoof not dividing -- it `is' unclean to you;“પરંતુ જે પ્રાણીઓની માંત્ર ખરી ફાટવાળી હોય અથવા જે માંત્ર વાગોળતાં હોય તે પ્રાણીઓ તમાંરે જમવા જોઈએ નહિ, જેમ કે ઊટ,

5 and the rabbit, though it is bringing up the cud, yet the hoof it divideth not -- unclean it `is' to you;એ વાગોળે છે પણ એની ખરીને ફાટ નથી, તમાંરે એને અશુદ્ધ ગણવું; ઘોર ખોદિયું અને સસલું,

6 and the hare, though it is bringing up the cud, yet the hoof hath not divided -- unclean it `is' to you;એ વાગોળે છે, પણ એના પગને ફાટ નથી;

7 and the sow, though it is dividing the hoof, and cleaving the cleft of the hoof, yet the cud it bringeth not up -- unclean it `is' to you.તમાંરે એને અશુદ્ધ ગણવાં, ડુક્કરના પગે ફાટ હોય છે, પણ એ વાગોળતું નથી, તમાંરે એને અશુદ્ધ ગણવું.

8 `Of their flesh ye do not eat, and against their carcase ye do not come -- unclean they `are' to you.તમાંરે તેનું માંસ ખાવું નહિ કે તેમના શબને અડવું નહિ. તમાંરે તેમને અશુદ્ધ ગણવાં.”

9 `This ye do eat of all which `are' in the waters; any one that hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the brooks, them ye do eat;“જળચર પ્રાણીઓમાંથી તમે આટલાં ખાઈ શકો: ખારા પાણીનાં કે મીઠાં પાણીનાં બધાં પરવાળા તેમજ ભિંગડાઁવાળાં પ્રાણીઓ,

10 and any one that hath not fins and scales in the seas, and in the brooks, of any teeming creature of the waters, and of any creature which liveth, which `is' in the waters -- an abomination they `are' to you;પરંતુ ખારા કે મીઠાં પાણીનાં નાનાં મોટાં જે પ્રાણીઓને કાં તો પર ન હોય કે ભિંગટાં પણ ન હોય તે તમે ખાઈ શકો નહિ, તમાંરા માંટે તે અશુદ્ધ છે.

11 yea, an abomination they are to you; of their flesh ye do not eat, and their carcase ye abominate.તમાંરે તેમનું માંસ ખાવું જોઈએ નહિ કે તેમના શબને અડવું નહિ.

12 `Any one that hath not fins and scales in the waters -- an abomination it `is' to you.હું ફરીથી કહું છું કે જે કોઈ જળચર પ્રાણીને પર ન હોય કે ભિંગડાં ના હોય તે ખાવાની તમને મનાઈ છે.

13 `And these ye do abominate of the fowl; they are not eaten, an abomination they `are': the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,“આટલાં પક્ષીઓમાંથી નીચેના તમાંરે ન ખાવા અને અછુત ગણવા: ગરૂડ તથા ફરસ તથા ગીધ;

14 and the vulture, and the kite after its kind,બાજ, સમડી;

15 every raven after its kind,કાગડા બધી જ દાતના,

16 and the owl, and the night-hawk, and the cuckoo, and the hawk after its kind,શાહમૃગ, રાતશકરી, શકરો, શાખાફ બધી જ જાતના

17 and the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl,ચીબરી, કરઢોક, ધૂવડ;

18 and the swan, and the pelican, and the gier eagle,રાજહંસ, ઢીંચ, ગીધ;

19 and the stork, the heron after its kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.બગલો, બધી જ જાતનાં હંસ, લક્કડખોદ અને વાગોળ.

20 `Every teeming creature which is flying, which is going on four -- an abomination it `is' to you.“બધા પાંખવાળા ચોપગા કીડાઓને તમાંરે ખાવા નહિ,

21 `Only -- this ye do eat of any teeming thing which is flying, which is going on four, which hath legs above its feet, to move with them on the earth;પણ જેઓ ઠેકડા માંરી કૂદકા માંરે છે તેમનામાંથી આટલા તમે ખાઈ શકો:

22 these of them ye do eat: the locust after its kind, and the bald locust after its kind, and the beetle after its kind, and the grasshopper after its kind;બધી જ જાતનાં તીડ, બધી જ જાતનાં તમરાં, બધી જ જાતના તીતીધોડા, દરેક રણનાં તીડ.

23 and every teeming thing which is flying, which hath four feet -- an abomination it `is' to you.“તે સિવાયના જે સર્વ જંતુઓ ઊડે છે અને પગથી ચાલે છે કે પેટે ચાલે છે તે બધાને ખાવાની તમને મનાઈ છે.

24 `And by these ye are made unclean, any one who is coming against their carcase is unclean till the evening;“તેઓના શબને પણ જો કોઈ સ્પર્શ કરે તો સાંજ સુધી તે અશુદ્ધ ગણાય.

25 and anyone who is lifting up `aught' of their carcase doth wash his garments, and hath been unclean till the evening: --જે કોઈ તેમના શબને ઉપાડી લે તેણે પોતાનાં વસ્ત્રો ધોઈ નાખવા. વિધિ પ્રમાંણે તે સાંજ સુધી અશુદ્ધ ગણાય.

26 even every beast which is dividing the hoof, and is not cloven-footed, and the cud is not bringing up -- unclean they `are' to you; any one who is coming against them is unclean.“જે પશુઓને ફાટવાળી ખરીઓ હોય પણ તેમના બરાબર બે સરખા ભાગ થતાં ન હોય અથવા જે પશુઓ વાગોળતાં ના હોય,

27 `And any one going on its paws, among all the beasts which are going on four -- unclean they `are' to you; any one who is coming against their carcase is unclean until the evening;અથવા જે જે ચોપગાં રાની પશુઓ પંજા ઉપર ચાલતાં હોય તે બધાં પશુઓને અશુદ્ધ ગણવા જે કોઈ તેમના શબને અડે તો તે સાંજ સુધી અશુદ્ધ ગણાય.

28 and he who is lifting up their carcase doth wash his garments, and hath been unclean until the evening -- unclean they `are' to you.અને જે કોઈ તેમના શબને ઉપાડે, તો તેણે પોતાનાં વસ્ત્રો ધોઈ નાખવાં, પણ તે સાંજ સુધી અશુદ્ધ ગણાય. કારણ કે તે માંટેની તમને મનાઈ કરેલી છે.

29 `And this `is' to you the unclean among the teeming things which are teeming on the earth: the weasel, and the mouse, and the tortoise after its kind,“પેટે ચાલનારા આટલાં પ્રાણીઓની પણ તમને મનાઈ કરવામાં આવેલ છે: બધી જ જાતની ગરોળીઓ, નોળિયો, ઉદર,

30 and the ferret, and the chameleon, and the lizard, and the snail, and the mole;ચંદન ધો, પાટલા ઘો, મગર સરડો તથા કાચીંડો.

31 these `are' the unclean to you among all which are teeming; any one who is coming against them in their death is unclean till the evening.પેટે ઘસીને ચાલનારાં પ્રાણીઓમાં આટલાંને તમાંરે અશુદ્ધ ગણવાં, જે કોઈ એમના શબને અડકે તે સાંજ સુધી અશુદ્ધ ગણાય.

32 `And anything on which any one of them falleth, in their death, is unclean, of any vessel of wood or garment or skin or sack, any vessel in which work is done is brought into water, and hath been unclean till the evening, then it hath been clean;“જે કોઈ વસ્તુ ઉપર એમનું શબ પડે તે અશુદ્ધ ગણાય. એવી કોઈ પણ લાકડાની અથવા કપડાંની અથવા ચામડાની અથવા કંતાનની નિત્યના વપરાશની વસ્તુને પાણીમાં ધોઈ નાખવી. પણ તે સાંજ સુધી અશુદ્ધ ગણાય. ત્યાર પછી તેનો ઉપયોગ થઈ શકે.

33 and any earthen vessel, into the midst of which `any' one of them falleth, all that `is' in its midst is unclean, and it ye do break.જો આમાંનું કોઈ પણ પ્રાણી એક માંટીનાં વાસણ પર મરીને પડે તો તેમાંની વસ્તુ અશુદ્ધ થઈ જાય, તેથી એ વાસણને તોડી નાંખવું.

34 `Of all the food which is eaten, that on which cometh `such' water, is unclean, and all drink which is drunk in any `such' vessel is unclean;જે કોઈ ખાવાના પદાર્થ પર એવાં માંટલામાંથી પાણી રેડયું હોય તે અશુદ્ધ ગણાય. અશુદ્ધ થયેલાં વાસણોમાંનું કોઈ પણ પીણું હોય તો તે અશુદ્ધ ગણાય.

35 and anything on which `any' of their carcase falleth is unclean (oven or double pots), it is broken down, unclean they `are', yea, unclean they are to you.જે કોઈ વસ્તુ પર આવા પ્રાણીનું શબ પડે તે અશુદ્ધ ગણાય, અને એ જો ભઠ્ઠી કે સગડી હોય તો તેને ભાંગી નાખવી. કારણ કે એ અશુદ્ધ છે, અને તમાંરે એને અશુદ્ધ ગણવી જોઈએ.

36 `Only -- a fountain or pit, a collection of water, is clean, but that which is coming against their carcase is unclean;“જો આવું શબ પાણીના ટાંકામાં, કૂવામાં કે ઝરણાંમાં કે કોઈ જળાશયમાં પડે તો તે પાણી અશુદ્ધ ન ગણાય, જો કે જે કોઈ તેમનાં શબને અડે તે અશુદ્ધ ગણાય.

37 and when `any' of their carcase falleth on any sown seed which is sown -- it `is' clean;જો એમાંના કોઈનું શબ વાવવાના દાણા પર પડે તો તે શુદ્ધ રહે.

38 and when water is put on the seed, and `any' of its carcase hath fallen on it -- unclean it `is' to you.પણ જો તે દાણા ભીના હોય અને તેના પર શબ પડે, તો તમાંરે તેને અશુદ્ધ ગણવા.

39 `And when any of the beasts which are to you for food dieth, he who is coming against its carcase is unclean till the evening;“તમને ખાવાની છૂટ આપવામાં આવી છે એવું પ્રાણી મરી જાય; તો તેના શબને જે કોઈ અડે તે સાંજ સુધી અશુદ્ધ ગણાય.

40 and he who is eating of its carcase doth wash his garments, and hath been unclean till the evening; and he who is lifting up its carcase doth wash his garments, and hath been unclean till the evening.જે કોઈ એ શબમાંથી તેનું માંસ ખાય અથવા તેના શબને ઉઠાવીને દૂર લઈ જાય, તો તેણે પોતાનાં વસ્ત્રો ધોઈ નાખવાં, પણ તે સાંજ સુધી અશુદ્ધ ગણાય.

41 `And every teeming thing which is teeming on the earth is an abomination, it is not eaten;“જમીન પર પેટ ઘસીને ચાલતાં તમાંમ નાનાં પ્રાણીઓ ખાવાની મનાઈ છે. માંટે તે ખાવાં નહિ.

42 any thing going on the belly, and any going on four, unto every multiplier of feet, to every teeming thing which is teeming on the earth -- ye do not eat them, for they `are' an abomination;સર્વ પેટે ચાલનારાં ચોપગાં કે વધુ પગવાળાં જમીન પર પેટે ચાલનારાં નાનાં પ્રાણી પણ તમાંરે ખાવા નહિ કારણ કે તે અશુદ્ધ છે.

43 ye do not make yourselves abominable with any teeming thing which is teeming, nor do ye make yourselves unclean with them, so that ye have been unclean thereby.તમાંરે એ પ્રાણીઓને તમને આભડવા દેવા નહિ, તમાંરે અશુદ્ધ ન બનવું.

44 `For I `am' Jehovah your God, and ye have sanctified yourselves, and ye have been holy, for I `am' holy; and ye do not defile your persons with any teeming thing which is creeping on the earth;કારણ કે હું યહોવા તમાંરો દેવ છું. આ બાબતો વિષે તમે તમાંરી જાતને પવિત્ર રાખો, કારણ, હું પવિત્ર છું. જમીન પર પેટે ચાલતાં કોઈ પ્રાણીથી તમાંરે તમાંરી જાતને અભડાવવી નહિ.

45 for I `am' Jehovah who am bringing you up out of the land of Egypt to become your God; and ye have been holy, for I `am' holy.હું યહોવા છું, જે તમને મિસરમાંથી લાવ્યો હતો જેથી હું તમાંરો દેવ બની શકું. તમાંરે પવિત્ર થવું જ જોઈએ. કેમકે હું પવિત્ર છું.”

46 `This `is' a law of the beasts, and of the fowl, and of every living creature which is moving in the waters, and of every creature which is teeming on the earth,એટલે પશુઓ, પક્ષીઓ, જળચર પ્રાણીઓ અને જમીન પર પેટઘસીને ચાલનારા જીવોને લગતો નિયમ આ મુજબ છે.

47 to make separation between the unclean and the pure, and between the beast that is eaten, and the beast that is not eaten.'એનો હેતું અશુદ્ધ અને શુદ્ધ ખાદ્ય અને અખાદ્ય જીવોને જુદુ પાડવાનો છે.”
