તે રાત્રે પાઉલે એક દર્શન જોયું. આ દર્શનમાં મકદોનિયાનો એક માણસ પાઉલની પાસે આવ્યો. તે માણસે ત્યાં ઊભા રહીને વિનંતી કરી, “મકદોનિયા પાર કરીને આવો, અમને મદદ કરો!”

તેઓ લોકોને એવું કહે છે, જે આપણા માટે યોગ્ય નથી. આપણે રોમન નાગરિકો છીએ. આપણે આ વસ્તુઓ કરી શકીએ નહિ.”
