પરંતુ તેઓની પ્રથમ યાત્રામાં યોહાન માર્કે તેઓને પમ્ફુલિયામાં છોડી દીધા. તેણે તેઓની સાથે કામ કરવાનું ચાલુ રાખ્યું નહિ. તેથી પાઉલે તેને સાથે લઈ જવો એ સારો વિચાર છે એમ માન્યું નહી.
