וַיֵּאָֽסְפ֨וּ the va-yay-ah-seh-FOO וַֽיַּעֲל֜וּ five va-ya-uh-LOO חֲמֵ֣שֶׁת׀ kings huh-MAY-shet מַלְכֵ֣י of mahl-HAY הָֽאֱמֹרִ֗י the ha-ay-moh-REE מֶ֣לֶךְ Amorites, MEH-lek יְרֽוּשָׁלִַ֜ם the yeh-roo-sha-la-EEM מֶֽלֶךְ king MEH-lek חֶבְר֤וֹן of hev-RONE מֶֽלֶךְ Jerusalem, MEH-lek יַרְמוּת֙ the yahr-MOOT מֶֽלֶךְ king MEH-lek לָכִ֣ישׁ of la-HEESH מֶֽלֶךְ Hebron, MEH-lek עֶגְל֔וֹן the eɡ-LONE הֵ֖ם king hame וְכָל of veh-HAHL מַֽחֲנֵיהֶ֑ם Jarmuth, ma-huh-nay-HEM וַֽיַּחֲנוּ֙ the va-ya-huh-NOO עַל king al גִּבְע֔וֹן of ɡeev-ONE וַיִּֽלָּחֲמ֖וּ Lachish, va-yee-la-huh-MOO עָלֶֽיהָ׃ the ah-LAY-ha -
וַיִּשְׁלְח֣וּ the va-yeesh-leh-HOO אַנְשֵׁי֩ men an-SHAY גִבְע֨וֹן of ɡeev-ONE אֶל Gibeon el יְהוֹשֻׁ֤עַ sent yeh-hoh-SHOO-ah אֶל unto el הַֽמַּחֲנֶה֙ Joshua ha-ma-huh-NEH הַגִּלְגָּ֣לָה to ha-ɡeel-ɡA-la לֵאמֹ֔ר the lay-MORE אַל camp al תֶּ֥רֶף to TEH-ref יָדֶ֖יךָ Gilgal, ya-DAY-ha מֵֽעֲבָדֶ֑יךָ saying, may-uh-va-DAY-ha עֲלֵ֧ה Slack uh-LAY אֵלֵ֣ינוּ not ay-LAY-noo מְהֵרָ֗ה thy meh-hay-RA וְהוֹשִׁ֤יעָה hand veh-hoh-SHEE-ah לָּ֙נוּ֙ from LA-NOO וְעָזְרֵ֔נוּ thy veh-oze-RAY-noo כִּ֚י servants; kee נִקְבְּצ֣וּ come neek-beh-TSOO אֵלֵ֔ינוּ up ay-LAY-noo כָּל to kahl מַלְכֵ֥י us mahl-HAY הָֽאֱמֹרִ֖י quickly, ha-ay-moh-REE יֹֽשְׁבֵ֥י and yoh-sheh-VAY הָהָֽר׃ save ha-HAHR -
וַיַּ֨עַל Joshua va-YA-al יְהוֹשֻׁ֜עַ ascended yeh-hoh-SHOO-ah מִן from meen הַגִּלְגָּ֗ל Gilgal, ha-ɡeel-ɡAHL ה֚וּא he, hoo וְכָל and veh-HAHL עַ֤ם all am הַמִּלְחָמָה֙ the ha-meel-ha-MA עִמּ֔וֹ people EE-moh וְכֹ֖ל of veh-HOLE גִּבּוֹרֵ֥י war ɡee-boh-RAY הֶחָֽיִל׃ with heh-HA-yeel -
וַיֹּ֨אמֶר the va-YOH-mer יְהוָ֤ה Lord yeh-VA אֶל said el יְהוֹשֻׁ֙עַ֙ unto yeh-hoh-SHOO-AH אַל Joshua, al תִּירָ֣א Fear tee-RA מֵהֶ֔ם them may-HEM כִּ֥י not: kee בְיָֽדְךָ֖ for veh-ya-deh-HA נְתַתִּ֑ים I neh-ta-TEEM לֹֽא have loh יַעֲמֹ֥ד delivered ya-uh-MODE אִ֛ישׁ them eesh מֵהֶ֖ם into may-HEM בְּפָנֶֽיךָ׃ thine beh-fa-NAY-ha -
וַיָּבֹ֧א therefore va-ya-VOH אֲלֵיהֶ֛ם came uh-lay-HEM יְהוֹשֻׁ֖עַ unto yeh-hoh-SHOO-ah פִּתְאֹ֑ם them peet-OME כָּל suddenly, kahl הַלַּ֕יְלָה and ha-LA-la עָלָ֖ה went ah-LA מִן up meen הַגִּלְגָּֽל׃ from ha-ɡeel-ɡAHL -
וַיְהֻמֵּ֤ם the vai-hoo-MAME יְהוָה֙ Lord yeh-VA לִפְנֵ֣י discomfited leef-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל them yees-ra-ALE וַיַּכֵּ֥ם before va-ya-KAME מַכָּֽה Israel, ma-KA גְדוֹלָ֖ה and ɡeh-doh-LA בְּגִבְע֑וֹן slew beh-ɡeev-ONE וַֽיִּרְדְּפֵ֗ם them va-yeer-deh-FAME דֶּ֚רֶךְ with DEH-rek מַֽעֲלֵ֣ה a ma-uh-LAY בֵית great vate חוֹרֹ֔ן slaughter hoh-RONE וַיַּכֵּ֥ם at va-ya-KAME עַד Gibeon, ad עֲזֵקָ֖ה and uh-zay-KA וְעַד chased veh-AD מַקֵּדָֽה׃ them ma-kay-DA -
וַיְהִ֞י it vai-HEE בְּנֻסָ֣ם׀ came beh-noo-SAHM מִפְּנֵ֣י to mee-peh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל pass, yees-ra-ALE הֵ֞ם as hame בְּמוֹרַ֤ד they beh-moh-RAHD בֵּית fled bate חוֹרֹן֙ from hoh-RONE וַֽיהוָ֡ה before vai-VA הִשְׁלִ֣יךְ Israel, heesh-LEEK עֲלֵיהֶם֩ and uh-lay-HEM אֲבָנִ֨ים were uh-va-NEEM גְּדֹל֧וֹת in ɡeh-doh-LOTE מִן the meen הַשָּׁמַ֛יִם going ha-sha-MA-yeem עַד down ad עֲזֵקָ֖ה to uh-zay-KA וַיָּמֻ֑תוּ Beth-horon, va-ya-MOO-too רַבִּ֗ים that ra-BEEM אֲשֶׁר the uh-SHER מֵ֙תוּ֙ Lord MAY-TOO בְּאַבְנֵ֣י cast beh-av-NAY הַבָּרָ֔ד down ha-ba-RAHD מֵֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר great may-uh-SHER הָֽרְג֛וּ stones ha-reh-ɡOO בְּנֵ֥י from beh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל heaven yees-ra-ALE בֶּחָֽרֶב׃ upon beh-HA-rev -
אָ֣ז spake az יְדַבֵּ֤ר Joshua yeh-da-BARE יְהוֹשֻׁעַ֙ to yeh-hoh-shoo-AH לַֽיהוָ֔ה the lai-VA בְּי֗וֹם Lord beh-YOME תֵּ֤ת in tate יְהוָה֙ the yeh-VA אֶת day et הָ֣אֱמֹרִ֔י when HA-ay-moh-REE לִפְנֵ֖י the leef-NAY בְּנֵ֣י Lord beh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל delivered yees-ra-ALE וַיֹּ֣אמֶר׀ up va-YOH-mer לְעֵינֵ֣י leh-ay-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל the yees-ra-ALE שֶׁ֚מֶשׁ Amorites SHEH-mesh בְּגִבְע֣וֹן before beh-ɡeev-ONE דּ֔וֹם the dome וְיָרֵ֖חַ children veh-ya-RAY-ak בְּעֵ֥מֶק of beh-A-mek אַיָּלֽוֹן׃ Israel, ah-ya-LONE -

וַיָּ֤שָׁב Joshua va-YA-shove יְהוֹשֻׁ֙עַ֙ returned, yeh-hoh-SHOO-AH וְכָל and veh-HAHL יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל all yees-ra-ALE עִמּ֔וֹ Israel EE-moh אֶל with el הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֖ה him, ha-ma-huh-NEH הַגִּלְגָּֽלָה׃ unto ha-ɡeel-ɡA-la -
וַיָּנֻ֕סוּ these va-ya-NOO-soo חֲמֵ֖שֶׁת five huh-MAY-shet הַמְּלָכִ֣ים kings ha-meh-la-HEEM הָאֵ֑לֶּה fled, ha-A-leh וַיֵּחָֽבְא֥וּ and va-yay-ha-veh-OO בַמְּעָרָ֖ה hid va-meh-ah-RA בְּמַקֵּדָֽה׃ themselves beh-ma-kay-DA -
וַיֻּגַּ֖ד it va-yoo-ɡAHD לִֽיהוֹשֻׁ֣עַ was lee-hoh-SHOO-ah לֵאמֹ֑ר told lay-MORE נִמְצְאוּ֙ Joshua, neem-tseh-OO חֲמֵ֣שֶׁת saying, huh-MAY-shet הַמְּלָכִ֔ים The ha-meh-la-HEEM נֶחְבְּאִ֥ים five nek-beh-EEM בַּמְּעָרָ֖ה kings ba-meh-ah-RA בְּמַקֵּדָֽה׃ are beh-ma-kay-DA -
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר Joshua va-YOH-mer יְהוֹשֻׁ֔עַ said, yeh-hoh-SHOO-ah גֹּ֛לּוּ Roll ɡOH-loo אֲבָנִ֥ים great uh-va-NEEM גְּדֹל֖וֹת stones ɡeh-doh-LOTE אֶל upon el פִּ֣י the pee הַמְּעָרָ֑ה mouth ha-meh-ah-RA וְהַפְקִ֧ידוּ of veh-hahf-KEE-doo עָלֶ֛יהָ the ah-LAY-ha אֲנָשִׁ֖ים cave, uh-na-SHEEM לְשָׁמְרָֽם׃ and leh-shome-RAHM -

וַיַּ֣עֲשׂוּ they va-YA-uh-soo כֵ֔ן did hane וַיֹּצִ֣יאוּ so, va-yoh-TSEE-oo אֵלָ֗יו and ay-LAV אֶת brought et חֲמֵ֛שֶׁת forth huh-MAY-shet הַמְּלָכִ֥ים ha-meh-la-HEEM הָאֵ֖לֶּה those ha-A-leh מִן five meen הַמְּעָרָ֑ה kings ha-meh-ah-RA אֵ֣ת׀ unto ate מֶ֣לֶךְ him MEH-lek יְרֽוּשָׁלִַ֗ם out yeh-roo-sha-la-EEM אֶת of et מֶ֤לֶךְ the MEH-lek חֶבְרוֹן֙ cave, hev-RONE אֶת et מֶ֣לֶךְ the MEH-lek יַרְמ֔וּת king yahr-MOOT אֶת of et מֶ֥לֶךְ Jerusalem, MEH-lek לָכִ֖ישׁ la-HEESH אֶת the et מֶ֥לֶךְ king MEH-lek עֶגְלֽוֹן׃ of eɡ-LONE -

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר Joshua va-YOH-mer אֲלֵיהֶם֙ said uh-lay-HEM יְהוֹשֻׁ֔עַ unto yeh-hoh-SHOO-ah אַל them, al תִּֽירְא֖וּ Fear tee-reh-OO וְאַל not, veh-AL תֵּחָ֑תּוּ nor tay-HA-too חִזְק֣וּ be heez-KOO וְאִמְצ֔וּ dismayed, veh-eem-TSOO כִּ֣י be kee כָ֗כָה strong HA-ha יַֽעֲשֶׂ֤ה and ya-uh-SEH יְהוָה֙ of yeh-VA לְכָל good leh-HAHL אֹ֣יְבֵיכֶ֔ם courage: OH-yeh-vay-HEM אֲשֶׁ֥ר for uh-SHER אַתֶּ֖ם thus ah-TEM נִלְחָמִ֥ים shall neel-ha-MEEM אוֹתָֽם׃ the oh-TAHM -
וַיַּכֵּ֨ם afterward va-ya-KAME יְהוֹשֻׁ֤עַ yeh-hoh-SHOO-ah אַֽחֲרֵי Joshua AH-huh-ray כֵן֙ smote hane וַיְמִיתֵ֔ם them, vai-mee-TAME וַיִּתְלֵ֕ם and va-yeet-LAME עַ֖ל slew al חֲמִשָּׁ֣ה them, huh-mee-SHA עֵצִ֑ים and ay-TSEEM וַיִּֽהְי֛וּ hanged va-yee-heh-YOO תְּלוּיִ֥ם them teh-loo-YEEM עַל on al הָֽעֵצִ֖ים five ha-ay-TSEEM עַד trees: ad הָעָֽרֶב׃ and ha-AH-rev -

וְאֶת that veh-ET מַקֵּדָה֩ day ma-kay-DA לָכַ֨ד Joshua la-HAHD יְהוֹשֻׁ֜עַ took yeh-hoh-SHOO-ah בַּיּ֣וֹם Makkedah, BA-yome הַה֗וּא and ha-HOO וַיַּכֶּ֣הָ smote va-ya-KEH-ha לְפִי it leh-FEE חֶרֶב֮ with heh-REV וְאֶת the veh-ET מַלְכָּהּ֒ edge mahl-KA הֶֽחֱרִ֣ם of heh-hay-REEM אוֹתָ֗ם the oh-TAHM וְאֶת sword, veh-ET כָּל and kahl הַנֶּ֙פֶשׁ֙ the ha-NEH-FESH אֲשֶׁר king uh-SHER בָּ֔הּ thereof ba לֹ֥א he loh הִשְׁאִ֖יר utterly heesh-EER שָׂרִ֑יד destroyed, sa-REED וַיַּ֙עַשׂ֙ them, va-YA-AS לְמֶ֣לֶךְ and leh-MEH-lek מַקֵּדָ֔ה all ma-kay-DA כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר the ka-uh-SHER עָשָׂ֖ה souls ah-SA לְמֶ֥לֶךְ that leh-MEH-lek יְרִיחֽוֹ׃ were yeh-ree-HOH -
וַיַּֽעֲבֹ֣ר Joshua va-ya-uh-VORE יְ֠הוֹשֻׁעַ passed YEH-hoh-shoo-ah וְכָֽל from veh-HAHL יִשְׂרָאֵ֥ל Makkedah, yees-ra-ALE עִמּ֛וֹ and EE-moh מִמַּקֵּדָ֖ה all mee-ma-kay-DA לִבְנָ֑ה Israel leev-NA וַיִּלָּ֖חֶם with va-yee-LA-hem עִם him, eem לִבְנָֽה׃ unto leev-NA -
וַיִּתֵּן֩ the va-yee-TANE יְהוָ֨ה Lord yeh-VA גַּם delivered ɡahm אוֹתָ֜הּ it oh-TA בְּיַ֣ד also, beh-YAHD יִשְׂרָאֵל֮ and yees-ra-ALE וְאֶת the veh-ET מַלְכָּהּ֒ king mahl-KA וַיַּכֶּ֣הָ thereof, va-ya-KEH-ha לְפִי into leh-FEE חֶ֗רֶב the HEH-rev וְאֶת hand veh-ET כָּל of kahl הַנֶּ֙פֶשׁ֙ Israel; ha-NEH-FESH אֲשֶׁר and uh-SHER בָּ֔הּ he ba לֹֽא smote loh הִשְׁאִ֥יר it heesh-EER בָּ֖הּ with ba שָׂרִ֑יד the sa-REED וַיַּ֣עַשׂ edge va-YA-as לְמַלְכָּ֔הּ of leh-mahl-KA כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר the ka-uh-SHER עָשָׂ֖ה sword, ah-SA לְמֶ֥לֶךְ and leh-MEH-lek יְרִיחֽוֹ׃ all yeh-ree-HOH -
וַיַּֽעֲבֹ֣ר Joshua va-ya-uh-VORE יְ֠הוֹשֻׁעַ passed YEH-hoh-shoo-ah וְכָל from veh-HAHL יִשְׂרָאֵ֥ל Libnah, yees-ra-ALE עִמּ֛וֹ and EE-moh מִלִּבְנָ֖ה all mee-leev-NA לָכִ֑ישָׁה Israel la-HEE-sha וַיִּ֣חַן with va-YEE-hahn עָלֶ֔יהָ him, ah-LAY-ha וַיִּלָּ֖חֶם unto va-yee-LA-hem בָּֽהּ׃ Lachish, ba -

אָ֣ז Horam az עָלָ֗ה king ah-LA הֹרָם֙ of hoh-RAHM מֶ֣לֶךְ Gezer MEH-lek גֶּ֔זֶר came ɡEH-zer לַעְזֹ֖ר up la-ZORE אֶת to et לָכִ֑ישׁ help la-HEESH וַיַּכֵּ֤הוּ va-ya-KAY-hoo יְהוֹשֻׁ֙עַ֙ Lachish; yeh-hoh-SHOO-AH וְאֶת and veh-ET עַמּ֔וֹ Joshua AH-moh עַד smote ad בִּלְתִּ֥י him beel-TEE הִשְׁאִֽיר and heesh-EER ל֖וֹ his loh שָׂרִֽיד׃ people, sa-REED -
וַיַּֽעֲבֹ֣ר from va-ya-uh-VORE יְ֠הוֹשֻׁעַ Lachish YEH-hoh-shoo-ah וְכָל Joshua veh-HAHL יִשְׂרָאֵ֥ל passed yees-ra-ALE עִמּ֛וֹ unto EE-moh מִלָּכִ֖ישׁ Eglon, mee-la-HEESH עֶגְלֹ֑נָה and eɡ-LOH-na וַיַּֽחֲנ֣וּ all va-ya-huh-NOO עָלֶ֔יהָ Israel ah-LAY-ha וַיִּֽלָּחֲמ֖וּ with va-yee-la-huh-MOO עָלֶֽיהָ׃ him; ah-LAY-ha -

וַיַּ֣עַל Joshua va-YA-al יְ֠הוֹשֻׁעַ went YEH-hoh-shoo-ah וְכָֽל up veh-HAHL יִשְׂרָאֵ֥ל from yees-ra-ALE עִמּ֛וֹ Eglon, EE-moh מֵֽעֶגְל֖וֹנָה and may-eɡ-LOH-na חֶבְר֑וֹנָה all hev-ROH-na וַיִּֽלָּחֲמ֖וּ Israel va-yee-la-huh-MOO עָלֶֽיהָ׃ with ah-LAY-ha -

וַיַּכֶּ֣ה Joshua va-ya-KEH יְהוֹשֻׁ֣עַ smote yeh-hoh-SHOO-ah אֶת et כָּל all kahl הָאָ֡רֶץ the ha-AH-rets הָהָר֩ country ha-HAHR וְהַנֶּ֨גֶב of veh-ha-NEH-ɡev וְהַשְּׁפֵלָ֜ה the veh-ha-sheh-fay-LA וְהָֽאֲשֵׁד֗וֹת hills, veh-ha-uh-shay-DOTE וְאֵת֙ and veh-ATE כָּל of kahl מַלְכֵיהֶ֔ם the mahl-hay-HEM לֹ֥א south, loh הִשְׁאִ֖יר and heesh-EER שָׂרִ֑יד of sa-REED וְאֵ֤ת the veh-ATE כָּל vale, kahl הַנְּשָׁמָה֙ and ha-neh-sha-MA הֶֽחֱרִ֔ים of heh-hay-REEM כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֣ר the ka-uh-SHER צִוָּ֔ה springs, tsee-WA יְהוָ֖ה and yeh-VA אֱלֹהֵ֥י all ay-loh-HAY יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ their yees-ra-ALE -
