તેથી જ્યાં સુધી આ લોકોએ શત્રુઓ પર વિજય મેળવ્યો સૂર્ય હલ્યો નહિ અને ચંદ્ર થોભી ગયો. આ ઘટનાનું વિશદ વિસ્તૃત વર્ણન યાશારના ગ્રંથમાં લખેલું છે, તેમ સૂર્ય આકાશની વચ્ચોવચ થંભી ગયો અને લગભગ એક દિવસ સુધી તેણે આથમી જવામાં વિલંબ કર્યો.
