ઈસુએ નથાનિયેલને કહ્યું, “મેં તને કહ્યું કે મેં તને અંજીરના વૃક્ષ નીચે જોયો. તેથી તે મારામાં વિશ્વાસ મૂક્યો. પણ તું તેના કરતાં પણ વધારે મહાન વાતો જોશે.”

જ્યારે ઈસુએ આ સાંભળ્યું; તે આશ્ચર્યચકિત થયો. જે લોકો તેની પાછળ આવતા હતા તેઓના તરફ ઈસુ પાછો ફર્યો. ઈસુએ કહ્યું, “હું તમને કહું છું આટલો બધો વિશ્વાસ તો મેં ઇઝરાએલમાં પણ નથી જોયો.”

જેની પાસે સમજ છે, તેને આપવામાં આવશે અને તેની પાસે તેની જરૂરિયાત કરતાં પણ પુષ્કળ થશે, પણ જેની પાસે સમજ નથી, તેની પાસે જે થોડી ઘણી છે તે પણ ગુમાવી બેસશે.
