Philippians 3:3
આપણે સાચી રીતે સુન્નત પામેલા છીએ અને તેના આત્માથી આપણે દેવની સ્તુતિ (સેવા કરીએ છીએ. આપણને ખ્રિસ્ત ઈસુમાં હોવા માટે ગૌરવ છે. અને આપણે આપણી જાતમાં કે અન્ય કોઈ આપણા કાર્યમાં વિશ્વાસ નથી મૂક્તા.

સાચા યહૂદિ હોવું એ માત્ર સાદી સરળ બાહ્ય નિશાનીઓની બાબત નથી. અને સાચી સુન્નત તો શારીરિક નિશાની કરતાં વધારે છે.

યહૂદિઓએ કહ્યું, “અમારો પિતા ઈબ્રાહિમ છે.” ઈસુએ કહ્યું, “જો તમે ખરેખર ઈબ્રાહિમના બાળકો હતા તો પછી તમે જે કામો ઈબ્રાહિમે કર્યા તે જ કરશો.
