Jeremiah 49:13
કારણ, હું મારા જીવના સમ ખાઇને કહું છું કે “બોસ્રાહની દશા જોઇને લોકો હબકાઇ જશે, તેની હાંસી ઉડાવશે; તે વેરાન થઇ જશે અને લોકોમાં તેનું નામ શાપરૂપ લેખાશે. એના બધાં ગામો કાયમ માટે ખંડેર થઇ જશે.”

| reproach, a | לְחֹ֥רֶב | lĕḥōreb | leh-HOH-rev |
| a waste, | וְלִקְלָלָ֖ה | wĕliqlālâ | veh-leek-la-LA |
| and a curse; | תִּֽהְיֶ֣ה | tihĕye | tee-heh-YEH |
| all and | בָצְרָ֑ה | boṣrâ | vohts-RA |
| the cities | וְכָל | wĕkāl | veh-HAHL |
| thereof shall be | עָרֶ֥יהָ | ʿārêhā | ah-RAY-ha |
| perpetual | תִהְיֶ֖ינָה | tihyênâ | tee-YAY-na |
