Jeremiah 20:16
તે માણસના હાલ એ પુરાતન નગરોના જેવા થાવ. જેનો યહોવાએ દયા રાખ્યા વગર નાશ કર્યો છે, ભલે તેને આખો દિવસ રણનાદ સંભળાય; સવારમાં આર્તનાદ અને બપોરે યુદ્ધનાદ સંભળાય,

| the Lord | הָפַ֥ךְ | hāpak | ha-FAHK |
| overthrew, | יְהוָ֖ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| and repented | וְלֹ֣א | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| not: | נִחָ֑ם | niḥām | nee-HAHM |
| hear him let and | וְשָׁמַ֤ע | wĕšāmaʿ | veh-sha-MA |
| the cry | זְעָקָה֙ | zĕʿāqāh | zeh-ah-KA |
| morning, the in | בַּבֹּ֔קֶר | babbōqer | ba-BOH-ker |
| and the shouting | וּתְרוּעָ֖ה | ûtĕrûʿâ | oo-teh-roo-AH |
| at noontide; | בְּעֵ֥ת | bĕʿēt | beh-ATE |
| צָהֳרָֽיִם׃ | ṣāhŏrāyim | tsa-hoh-RA-yeem |
