Isaiah 9:9
ઇસ્રાએલના પાટનગર સમરૂનના સૌ વતનીઓને એની જાણ થશે.એ લોકો તો પોતાના અભિમાન અને તુમાખીમાં કહે છે કે,
| And all | וְיָדְעוּ֙ | wĕyodʿû | veh-yode-OO |
| the people | הָעָ֣ם | hāʿām | ha-AM |
| shall know, | כֻּלּ֔וֹ | kullô | KOO-loh |
| Ephraim even | אֶפְרַ֖יִם | ʾeprayim | ef-RA-yeem |
| and the inhabitant | וְיוֹשֵׁ֣ב | wĕyôšēb | veh-yoh-SHAVE |
| Samaria, of | שֹׁמְר֑וֹן | šōmĕrôn | shoh-meh-RONE |
| that say | בְּגַאֲוָ֛ה | bĕgaʾăwâ | beh-ɡa-uh-VA |
| pride the in | וּבְגֹ֥דֶל | ûbĕgōdel | oo-veh-ɡOH-del |
| and stoutness | לֵבָ֖ב | lēbāb | lay-VAHV |
| of heart, | לֵאמֹֽר׃ | lēʾmōr | lay-MORE |
