Isaiah 50 - BBE (Gujarati)

1 This is the word of the Lord: Where is the statement which I gave your mother when I put her away? or to which of my creditors have I given you for money? It was for your sins that you were given into the hands of others, and for your evil-doing was your mother put away.યહોવા પૂછે છે, “શુ મેં તમને મારા લેણદારોને વેચી દીધા છે? તેને લીધે શું તમે અહીં આવ્યા નથી? મેં તમારી માતાને છૂટાછેડા આપીને કાઢી મૂક્યાનું ફારગતીપત્ર ક્યાં છે? ના, તમારા અપરાધોને લીધે જ તમે પોતાને વેંચી દીધા હતા અને તમારું દેવું ચૂકવવાને માટે જ તમારી માતાને પણ કાઢી મૂકવામાં આવીં હતી.

2 Why, then, when I came, was there no man? and no one to give answer to my voice? has my hand become feeble, so that it is unable to take up your cause? or have I no power to make you free? See, at my word the sea becomes dry, I make the rivers a waste land: their fish are dead for need of water, and make an evil smell.હું તમારો ઉદ્ધાર કરવા આવ્યો, ત્યારે અહીં કેમ કોઇ હતું નહિ? મેં બૂમ પાડી ત્યારે કેમ કોઇએ જવાબ ન આપ્યો? શું તમને એમ લાગ્યું કે, મારો હાથ તમારો ઉદ્ધાર કરવા સમર્થ નથી! શું મારામાં તમને બચાવવાની શકિત નથી? જુઓ, મારી આજ્ઞાથી સાગર સૂકાઇ જાય છે, અને ઝરણા રણ બની જાય છે. તેમાંની માછલીઓ પાણી વિના ગંધાઇ ઊઠે છે અને તરસે મરી જાય છે.

3 By me the heavens are clothed with black, and I make haircloth their robe.આકાશ જાણે શોક પાળતું હોય તેમ, હું તેને અંધકારથી આચ્છાદિત કરુ છું.”

4 The Lord God has given me the tongue of those who are experienced, so that I may be able to give the word a special sense for the feeble: every morning my ear is open to his teaching, like those who are experienced:યહોવા મારા દેવે મને શું કહેવું તે શીખવીને મોકલ્યો છે, તેથી હું થાકેલાને ઉત્સાહના વેણ કહી શકું. પ્રતિ પ્રભાતે તે મને ઊંઘમાંથી ઊઠાડે છે અને તેમની ઇચ્છાને સમજવાનું સાર્મથ્ય મને આપે છે.

5 And I have not put myself against him, or let my heart be turned back from him.યહોવા મારા દેવે મારા કાન ઉઘાડ્યા છે, મેં નથી આજ્ઞાભંગ કર્યો કે, નથી પાછા પગલા ભર્યા.

6 I was offering my back to those who gave me blows, and my face to those who were pulling out my hair: I did not keep my face covered from marks of shame.મારનાર તરફ મેં પીઠ ધરી છે અને વાળ ખેંચી કાઢનારની આગળ મારા ગાલ ધર્યા છે. અપમાન કરનાર અને થૂંકનારથી મેં મારુ મુખ સંતાડ્યું નથી.

7 For the Lord God is my helper; I will not be put to shame: so I have made my face like a rock, and I am certain that he will give me my right.પરંતુ યહોવા મારા માલિક મારી સહાયમાં ઊભા છે, તેથી કોઇ અપમાન મને નડતું નથી. મેં મારું મુખ પથ્થર જેવું દ્રઢ અને મજબૂત કર્યું છે; મને ખાતરી છે કે મારી લાજ નહિ જાય.

8 He who takes up my cause is near; who will go to law with me? let us come together before the judge: who is against me? let him come near to me.મને ન્યાય આપનાર નજીકમાં છે; હવે મારી સામે યુદ્ધ કરવાની હિંમત કોણ કરી શકે? ક્યાં છે મારા દુશ્મનો? તેમને મારી સામે આવવા દો!

9 See, the Lord God is my helper; who will give a decision against me? truly, all of them will become old like a robe; they will be food for the worm.જુઓ, યહોવા મારા દેવ મને સહાય કરશે, પછી મને અપરાધી ઠરાવી શકે એવો કોણ છે? જેમ જીવાત જૂના કપડાંને ખાઇ જાય છે, તેમ મારા સર્વ શત્રુઓનો નાશ થશે!

10 Who among you has the fear of the Lord, giving ear to the voice of his servant who has been walking in the dark and has no light? Let him put his faith in the name of the Lord, looking to his God for support.તમારામાંથી એવો કોઇ છે જે યહોવાનો ડર રાખતો હોય? તેના સેવકની આજ્ઞા પાળતો હોય? જે અંધારામાં દીવા વગર ચાલતો હોય તોતે યહોવાના નામ પર શ્રદ્ધા રાખે, અને તેનો આધાર લે.

11 See, all you who make a fire, arming yourselves with burning branches: go in the flame of your fire, and among the branches you have put a light to. This will you have from my hand, you will make your bed in sorrow.“પણ તમે બધા તો અગ્નિ પેટાવો છો અને ઝાડના કૂંઠા બાળો છો. તો જાઓ, અગ્નિની જવાળાની વચ્ચે અને તમે જાતે સળગાવેલાં ઝાડના ઠૂંઠા વચ્ચે ચાલો. યહોવાને હાથે તમારી આ દશા થવાની છે. તમે દુ:ખમાં જ સબડવાનાં છો અને વિપત્તિમાં જ પડ્યા રહેવાના છો.”
