Isaiah 44 - WEB (Gujarati)

1 Yet now hear, Jacob my servant, and Israel, who I have chosen:યહોવા કહે છે, “હે યાકૂબ, મારા સેવક, ઇસ્રાએલ, “મારા પસંદ કરેલા, મને સાંભળ.

2 Thus says Yahweh who made you, and formed you from the womb, who will help you: Don't be afraid, Jacob my servant; and you, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.“હું જ તારો સર્જનહાર છું, જ્યારથી તું જનમ્યો હતો ત્યારથી હું તને મદદ કરી રહ્યો છું. હે યાકૂબ, મારા સેવક, મારા પસંદ કરાયેલા યશુરૂન, હું તને આ કહું છું તું ભયભીત થઇશ નહિ.

3 For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour my Spirit on your seed, and my blessing on your offspring:“હું તમારી તરસ છીપાવવા ભૂમિ પર પુષ્કળ પાણી વરસાવીશ. સૂકી ધરતી પર ઝરણાં વહાવીશ. તારી સંતતિ ઉપર હું મારી શકિત ઉતારીશ. તારા વંશજો પર મારા આશીર્વાદ વરસાવીશ.

4 and they shall spring up among the grass, as willows by the watercourses.તેઓ વહેતાં ઝરણાંની ધારે પાણીમાં ઊગી નીકળતા ઘાસની જેમ તથા નદી કાંઠે ઊગી નીકળતા નેતરના ઝાડોની જેમ વૃદ્ધિ પામશે,

5 One shall say, I am Yahweh's; and another shall call [himself] by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand to Yahweh, and surname [himself] by the name of Israel.“તેથી તેઓ બધા પોતાને યહોવાના સેવક અને યાકૂબના વંશજો તરીકે ઓળખાવવામાં ગૌરવ લેશે. તેઓ કહેશે કે તેઓ યહોવાની માલિકીના છે અને ‘ઇસ્રાએલીઓ’ તરીકે ઓળખાય.”

6 Thus says Yahweh, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, Yahweh of Hosts: I am the first, and I am the last; and besides me there is no God.ઇસ્રાએલનો રાજા અને તેના ઉદ્ધારક સૈન્યોના દેવ યહોવા આ પ્રમાણે કહે છે: “હું જ આદિ છું અને હું જ અંત છું; મારા સિવાય કોઇ બીજો દેવ નથી.

7 Who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I established the ancient people? and the things that are coming, and that shall happen, let them declare.આવનાર ભવિષ્યમાં શું બનશે તે વિષે તમને મારા સિવાય કોણ કહી શકે છે? જો કોઇ કહી શકે તેમ હોય તો તેઓને કહેવા દો અને તેઓનું પરાક્રમ સાબિત કરવા દો. પ્રાચીનકાળથી જે પ્રમાણે મેં કર્યુ છે તેમ તેઓને કરવા દો.

8 Don't fear, neither be afraid: haven't I declared to you of old, and shown it? You are my witnesses. Is there a God besides me? Indeed, there is not. I don't know any Rock.ઓ મારા લોકો, ગભરાશો નહિ, ડરશો નહિ, પ્રાચીનકાળથી મેં એ બધું કહ્યું નથી? મેં જાહેર નથી કર્યુ? તમે મારા સાક્ષી છો. મારા સિવાય અન્ય કોઇ દેવ છે? મારા સિવાય બીજો કોઇ ખડક નથી.”

9 Those who fashion an engraved image are all of them vanity; and the things that they delight in shall not profit; and their own witnesses don't see, nor know: that they may be disappointed.જેઓ મૂર્તિ બનાવે છે તે બધા કેવા તુચ્છ છે? તેઓ જેને મોંધીમૂલી ગણે છે તે મૂર્તિઓ કશા કામની નથી, તેમના સાક્ષીઓ કંઇ દેખતા નથી અને જાણતાં કંઇ નથી કે સાક્ષી આપી શકે. એટલે આખરે એમની ફજેતી થાય છે.

10 Who has fashioned a god, or molten an image that is profitable for nothing?કોણ દેવની મૂર્તિ બનાવશે જે તેને સહેજ પણ સહાય કરી શકતી નથી?

11 Behold, all his fellows shall be disappointed; and the workmen, they are of men: let them all be gathered together, let them stand up; they shall fear, they shall be put to shame together.જરા થોભો અને જુઓ આ સર્વ મૂર્તિઓની પૂજા કરનારા ભેગા થશે અને તેમની ફજેતી થશે. અને મૂર્તિઓને ઘડનારા સર્વ કારીગરો પણ માણસો જ છે. તેમને ભેગા થઇને મારી સામે ઊભા તો રહેવા દો; બધા ધ્રુજી ઊઠશે અને ફજેત થશે.”

12 The smith [makes] an axe, and works in the coals, and fashions it with hammers, and works it with his strong arm: yes, he is hungry, and his strength fails; he drinks no water, and is faint.લુહાર ધાતુને અગ્નિમાં તપાવીને હથોડાથી ટીપી ટીપીને ધાટ આપે છે. પોતાના બળવાન બાહુ વડે ઘડતાં ઘડતાં તે ભૂખ્યો થાય છે અને થાકી જાય છે. ને તરસથી પાણી પીધા વિના નબળો અને નિર્ગત થઇ જાય છે.

13 The carpenter stretches out a line; he marks it out with a pencil; he shapes it with planes, and he marks it out with the compasses, and shapes it after the figure of a man, according to the beauty of a man, to dwell in a house.સુથાર લાકડા પર દોરી છાંટે છે, ચાકથી રૂપરેખા દોરે છે, ફરસીથી કોતરી કાઢે છે, કંપાસથી માપ લે છે, તેને માણસોનો આકાર આપે છે, પછી સુંદર મૂર્તિ બનાવી મંદિરમાં સ્થાપે છે.

14 He cuts down cedars for himself, and takes the cypress and the oak, and strengthens for himself one among the trees of the forest: he plants a fir tree, and the rain nourishes it.માણસ જઇને એરેજવૃક્ષને કાપે છે, અથવા જંગલમાંથી બીજું કોઇ વૃક્ષ પસંદ કરે છે, અથવા દેવદારનો રોપો રોપે છે જે વરસાદ પડતાં મોટો થાય છે.

15 Then shall it be for a man to burn; and he takes of it, and warms himself; yes, he kindles it, and bakes bread: yes, he makes a god, and worships it; he makes it an engraved image, and falls down to it.પછી તે લાકડાનો કેટલોક ભાગ બળતણ તરીકે પોતાને હૂંફાળા બનાવવા માટે વાપરે છે અને તેના પર રોટલી શેકે છે. બાકી રહેલા લાકડામાંથી તે પોતાને માટે દેવ બનાવે છે-લોકો ભકિત કરી શકે માટે દેવ બનાવે છે! પગે લાગવા માટે તે મૂર્તિઓ ઘડે છે.

16 He burns part of it in the fire; with part of it he eats flesh; he roasts roast, and is satisfied; yes, he warms himself, and says, Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire.અડધાં લાકડાને તે ઇંધણ તરીકે વાપરે છે, તેના પર તે માંસ શેકે છે અને તૃપ્ત થાય ત્યાં સુધી ખાય છે, પોતાની જાતને તપાવે છે અને કહે છે, “વાહ! કેવું સરસ તાપણું છે! હવે હૂંફ વળી.”

17 The residue of it he makes a god, even his engraved image; he falls down to it and worships, and prays to it, and says, Deliver me; for you are my god.બાકીના ભાગમાંથી તે કોઇ દેવની મૂર્તિ બનાવે છે, તેને પગે લાગીને તેની પૂજા કરે છે, તે તેની પ્રાર્થના કરે છે અને કહે છે, “મારો ઉદ્ધાર કરો, કારણ તમે મારા દેવ છો!”

18 They don't know, neither do they consider: for he has shut their eyes, that they can't see; and their hearts, that they can't understand.એ લોકો કશું જાણતા નથી કે સમજતા નથી. એમની આંખો પર અને ચિત્ત પર અજ્ઞાનના પડ જામ્યા છે એટલે એ લોકો નથી કશું જોઇ શકતા કે, નથી કશું સમજી શકતા.

19 None calls to mind, neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the fire; yes, also I have baked bread on the coals of it; I have roasted flesh and eaten it: and shall I make the residue of it an abomination? shall I fall down to the stock of a tree?એવો માણસ કદી વિચાર કરતો નથી, “આ તો લાકડાંનો ટુકડો છે! મેં તેને અગ્નિમાં બાળીને તાપણી કરી છે. અને રોટલી તથા માંસ શેકવા તેનો ઉપયોગ કર્યો છે, તો પછી બાકી રહેલું લાકડું તેનો દેવ કેવી રીતે બની શકે? તો શું મારે ફકત આ લાકડાના ટુકડા આગળ નમવું જોઇએ?”

20 He feeds on ashes; a deceived heart has turned him aside; and he can't deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?પોતાને મૂર્ખ બનાવનાર મનુષ્ય રાખ ખાવાનું ચાલુ રાખે છે; તેના મિત ચિત્તે તેને ભમાવ્યો છે; તેનો ઉદ્ધાર થાય એમ નથી, કારણ, તે એટલું પણ સમજતો નથી કે, “મારા જમણા હાથમાં છે એ તો જૂઠી વસ્તુ છે.”

21 Remember these things, Jacob, and Israel; for you are my servant: I have formed you; you are my servant: Israel, you shall not be forgotten by me.યહોવા કહે છે, “હે યાકૂબ, આટલી વાતનું ધ્યાન રાખજે, હે ઇસ્રાએલ, તું મારો સેવક છે. મેં તને ઉત્પન્ન કર્યો છે, અને હું તને મદદ કરવાનું ક્યારેય ભૂલી જઇશ નહિ.

22 I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, your transgressions, and, as a cloud, your sins: return to me; for I have redeemed you.મેં તારા અપરાધોને વાદળની જેમ હઠાવી દીધા છે. તારા પાપોને ધુમ્મસની જેમ વિખેરી નાખ્યાં છે. તું મારી પાસે પાછો આવ, કારણ હું તારો ઉપાસક છું.”

23 Sing, you heavens, for Yahweh has done it; shout, you lower parts of the earth; break forth into singing, you mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for Yahweh has redeemed Jacob, and will glorify himself in Israel.ઓ આકાશ, હર્ષના પોકાર કરો, કારણ, આ કાર્ય યહોવાનું છે! આનંદના લલકાર કરો, ઓ પૃથ્વીના ઊંડાણો! આનંદના ગીત ગાઓ, હે પર્વતો, જંગલો અને જંગલના વૃક્ષો! કારણ, યહોવાએ યાકૂબનો ઉદ્ધાર કરીને ઇસ્રાએલ દ્વારા પોતાનો મહિમા પ્રગટ કર્યો છે!

24 Thus says Yahweh, your Redeemer, and he who formed you from the womb: I am Yahweh, who makes all things; who stretches forth the heavens alone; who spreads abroad the earth (who is with me?);તને ઘડનારા, તારા મુકિતદાતા યહોવા એમ કહે છે, “સર્વનો સર્જનહાર હું યહોવા છું; મેં એકલાએ આકાશોને વિસ્તાર્યા છે. મેં જ્યારે આ પૃથ્વીને પાથરી ત્યારે મારી મદદમાં કોણ હતું?”

25 who frustrates the signs of the liars, and makes diviners mad; who turns wise men backward, and makes their knowledge foolish;હું દંભી પ્રબોધકોને જુઠ્ઠા પાડું છું અને તેઓ જે બનાવો વિષે કહે છે તેના કરતાં જુદા જ બનાવો દઇને હું તેઓને ખોટા પાડું છું. હું જ્ઞાનીઓના વચન પાછા ખેંચાવું છું અને તેમના જ્ઞાનને મૂર્ખાઇ ઠરાવું છું.

26 who confirms the word of his servant, and performs the counsel of his messengers; who says of Jerusalem, She shall be inhabited; and of the cities of Judah, They shall be built, and I will raise up the waste places of it;પણ મારા સેવકોનાં વચનને હું સાચાં ઠરાવું છું. અને મારા સંદેશાવાહકો મારફતે પ્રગટકરેલા ઉદ્દેશો પાર પાડું છું. યરૂશાલેમને હું કહું છું, “તારે ત્યાં ફરી વસ્તી થશે,” “યહૂદાના શહેરોને હું કહું છું,” તમે ફરી બંધાશો, તમારાં ખંડેરો હું ફરી ઉભા કરીશ.

27 who says to the deep, Be dry, and I will dry up your rivers;સાગરને હું કહું છું, “તું સુકાઇ જા, તારી નદીઓને હું સૂકવી નાખીશ.”

28 Who says of Cyrus, [He is] my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure, even saying of Jerusalem, She shall be built; and of the temple, Your foundation shall be laid.હું કોરેશને કહું છું, “તું તો મારો મોકલેલો પ્રજાનો પાલક છે, અને તું મારા બધા મનોરથો પૂર્ણ કરશે; અને તું યરૂશાલેમને ફરી બાંધવાનો અને મંદિરનો પાયો નાખવાનો આદેશ આપશે.”
