Isaiah 44:9
જેઓ મૂર્તિ બનાવે છે તે બધા કેવા તુચ્છ છે? તેઓ જેને મોંધીમૂલી ગણે છે તે મૂર્તિઓ કશા કામની નથી, તેમના સાક્ષીઓ કંઇ દેખતા નથી અને જાણતાં કંઇ નથી કે સાક્ષી આપી શકે. એટલે આખરે એમની ફજેતી થાય છે.

| and they | וְעֵדֵיהֶ֣ם | wĕʿēdêhem | veh-ay-day-HEM |
| are their own witnesses; | הֵׄ֗מָּׄהׄ | hēmmâ | HAY-ma |
| they see | בַּל | bal | bahl |
| not, | יִרְא֛וּ | yirʾû | yeer-OO |
| nor | וּבַל | ûbal | oo-VAHL |
| know; | יֵדְע֖וּ | yēdĕʿû | yay-deh-OO |
